A creep is seen by dozens, as he robs a convenience store, plus it is all on video. The cops show up, arrest him, and call him a “suspect.” A TV news piece shows a drunk maniac careening down the wrong side of the street and crashing into an oncoming car with a mother and two tykes in it, killing them, but seriously injuring the drunk. The video was taken by a helicopter, which zoomed in on the whole thing. The drunk is a “suspect.”
I, for one, am damned sick of “suspects.” A stolen car is chased by cops and helicopter news teams for an hour, till he finally crashes into a wall. He is pulled out of the wrecked stolen car by a half dozen cops with the footage completely covered by the news team, and he is a “suspect.”
Isn’t this a crock of you know what? Our so-called ’Justice System,’ doesn’t arrest Kennedy after he crashes into a barrier at 2:45 AM, and is obviously drunk out of his mind, but is chauffeured home by a cop. He wasn’t a ’suspect.’ He wasn’t even a drunk driver! He wasn’t given a blood-alcohol test. The stolen car guy, who has been caught red handed and on film, is a ’suspect?’ Please allow me to feel like throwing up.
When someone is caught red-handed committing a crime, he is not a ’suspect.’ He is a criminal, plain and simple. He doesn’t need a trial or lawyer… or rather he shouldn’t need one. Were it up to me, I’d just empty my gun on him, till all that was needed was an undertaker. These perps always have a criminal record a mile long, and I#8217;d end their record right then and there. Of course the lawyers would have a field day, suing the cops, and pointing out that the drunk or car thief had a miserable childhood, his mother beat him, and his father left. Oh dear me, how sad. Let’s just give him a couple of months in the pokey, OK? We’ll ’rehabilitate’ him with psychiatry. Ever known a normal psychiatrist? Is it any wonder that America is going down the tubes with jails full, court dockets full, and lawyers making out like the bandits they readily defend.
Bring back the American West of a hundred years ago, I say. Let about a million be shot dead when they do their thing, and I’ll guarantee you that crime will be zero. The American West of a hundred years ago, had everyone ’packing,’ as they should do today. I ’pack’ all the time, but have never been given a chance to finish off a ’suspect.’ I just wish the cops were allowed to use their guns. I wish they didn’t have to fill out a report for even removing it from its holster. I just wish the criminals were given their just due, every time one was caught red-handed, on tape, or with a lot of witnesses. It’ll never happen. It’s just a wish.
