Million, that is. In 1940, the population of Mexico was 20 million, and now it is 140 million, or half the population of the whole U.S. Mexico is crammed full. Why? because it is mostly Roman Catholic and they don’t believe in birth control? Because, as some say, it is the goal of most Mexican males to have as many children as they can? I have no idea, but the plan fact is that wages in Mexico are $5 a day, and here they are $5 an hour, and wanting to come here is as natural as drinking a glass of water when one gets thirsty. How to stop it? My way is to shoot intruders after posting warning signs and radio and TV warnings, but that won’t happen. The next best way is to build a huge, impenetrable wall, the likes of which no one has ever seen before, along the entire border. Will this work? Probably 97%. Would it cost a lot? Sure but Iraq is costing $150 million a DAY, and a few days of Iraq would pay for the wall. Should it be done?
They say there are 11 million illegals here, and that Vincente Fox, Dubya’s buddy, is encouraging their crossing illegally. Why not? It is estimated that $16 million a week is sent back to Mexico by the workers to help families back home. Do I feel sorry for the poverty ridden, diseased, in Mexico, which need help? Sure, but this exists all around the world. If it gets bad enough, maybe they will rise up the way the Poles did when the shipbuilder’s union decided to coin the word “SOLIDARITY,” and literally threw the commies out a few decades ago. Poland is a grand place now that the Soviets are gone. Maybe the Mexicans should do the same, and throw out the foul politicians who got them in their current condition. Mexico has mountains of silver, lots of seacoast, and a mild climate. My wife just returned from a week in Cancun, and she says the Gringos are having a ball spending their dollars there, just like they used to do in Cuba, before Castro.
They must be stopped. Kids born here and becoming automatic citizens, thanks to a Constitutional Amendment which was never legally ratified? So what? The kids have been raised to speak Tex-Mex, so sending them back with their parents won’t create any hardship other than poverty, which they had before they left. This has got to be stopped, so all the U.S. welfare recipients can be made to pick lettuce and tomatoes. They need the exercise…
