I don’t know where that name came from, but it’s common. I have the greatest respect for them, and support them in any way I can, in spite of some of their foolishness. Foolishness, such as riding around in air-conditioned cars rather than walking a beat, where crime could possibly be stopped. Foolishness, such as stopping someone for not using their turn signals when there is no one to signal to, or stopping someone for not wearing a seat belt maybe. Police cannot stop crime. All they do is show up after the fact and fill in silly reports. If they walked instead of riding, like they did when I was a kid, maybe crime would be cut. Or ride a bike if walking isn’t desired. The idea of a cop having to fill out a report if they even remove their gun from its holster is ridiculous. They should be marksmen and shoot to kill bank robbers who are running away, or others caught in the act. Why not? And of course I despise the fact that there are female cops. Of course if all they have to do is ride around in air-conditioned, sound proof cars and write tickets to unwary motorists, why not? Just think of how efficient cops would be if they walked a beat, and didn’t all converge after a fender bender, and act as if they were supremely important. They deny having quotas to fill in writing tickets, but I don’t believe it for a minute. Fight crime by walking and shooting dear police, and we will all be better off! Have a great weekend.
