I remember the “Neutrality Act of 1937” from many many years ago, but before I wrote about it, thought I’d better find out more. So I did. It was passed during the Presidency of FDR, perhaps the worst President America has ever had, (Lincoln, LBJ?) so I wasn’t surprised to find out that the Act used the word “President” over and over again. The Act made the President decide this and that, and finally the whole thing was repealed before WW II. There were several Neutrality Acts in the years 1935, 1936, and 1937, and all are long gone. They didn’t make America Neutral at all, but rather prohibited Americans from selling and transporting ammunitions, guns, planes, etc., or even traveling to nations at war…with lots of the usual ’provisions,’ which made the laws indecipherable and silly…as most laws are. FDR couldn’t allow laws to keep him from taunting the Japs into attacking Pearl Harbor and getting us into WW II now, could he? He simply had to get us out of the Federal Reserve created ’Great Depression,’ by getting us into war. He did it, and of course that got us out, didn’t it? It caused us millions of casualties, and 362,000 dead, plus 50% inflation, but we got out of the depression. Whoopee.
The Neutrality Acts were passed because Americans were incensed that we ever got into WW I, thanks to Woodrow Wilson. Americans realized that the whole thing was a huge mistake, had nothing to do with America, and they wanted us not to get into another one…which FDR did anyway. Guess what? Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and yes Israel, have nothing to do with us either. Was 9/11 a modern day equivalent of Pearl Harbor? A cunningly devised act, designed to get us into a “One World’ situation, or to pass a “Patriot Act?” Was 9/11, something so outrageous, just like Pearl Harbor was, that America would heartily stand behind a President who seemed to want to go to war? Was 9/11 an outrageous happening, just like Pearl Harbor, designed to get Iraq oil? Something to make Americans so angry and outraged, that they’d do anything to ’get even?’ Just like WWII? Is this the beginning of WW III? Iraq had absolutely NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11. Germany didn’t declare war on us in 1941, we declared war on Germany. Is there anything honest about governments, no matter where they are in the world? Probably not.
