The world situation is going from bad to worse, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it ended with a world war with Muslims fighting Christians and Jews. At any rate, I feel safe in the American West, and I urge you to consider a move. Why? Maybe because there are no racial minorities, humidity, high taxes, and all the crap that goes with the east and big cities everywhere. Racist remark? Sure, because 50% of crime is committed by 2% of the population, and you know what I mean. I lived through it and got robbed, mugged, and abused for many years. If you say that you can’t because your kids are nearby, or you have always lived there, or you have so many friends, etc? Think about your own safety and well being. Visit your kids and friends or encourage them to do the same. They may be glad to get rid of you! I changed religions at age 28 and made all new friends. I moved to Colorado at age 37 and made all new friends and new way of making a living and a total life change. I have never regretted it. The taxes on my 3350 square foot, $750,000 home are $1141 per year. Admittedly it is because I have owned it for 15 years, but a client of mine recently moved here and bought a splendid 2900 square foot home for $210,000 and his taxes are $800. Not necessarily in my town, although I love it here. There are a lot of places to move to in the Great American West, such as Idaho, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, or Arizona. The friendliness, neighborliness, and sheer beauty of the West and its people are simply grand. I think big cities, and especially eastern and California ones, are in huge danger. Whether it be from a war, earthquakes, utility break down, bad air, rampant crime, and anarchy, it could be very dangerous in the future. Picture electricity failure, 9/11 type of happening, riots, or what have you in New York, Philly, Boston, or D.C. Millions of innocents could be killed or injured, not to mention property values crash. If you can work at home, are in business which will work elsewhere, or are retired, I urge you to consider it. Most Americans live and die within a few miles of their birth. Just think, is all I ask, For your benefit, not mine! Sometimes a radical change in lifestyle is very pleasant and profitable! Freeways, crowds, smog, crime, and bad air can be a thing of the past if you move. Small town life in the Great American West is so wonderful and safe.. Have a great weekend.
