The internet that is. Think about it for a minute. Millions can now access virtually anything from porn to nuclear secrets to encyclopedias. Over thousand a day read my drivel on my website column. Many simply hate it and me I am certain, and would never buy a dime’s worth of anything from such a nut case as they think me to be. Tens of thousands read my Gold Eagle columns each week, and I am sure many disagree, but the internet allows anyone to anonymously look at anything any time, and act as they see fit. I don’t spend a dime on advertising, and wouldn’t think of ever bothering anyone by calling them. If someone wants something, they can call me. The Internet allows millions around the earth to access history, opinions, prices, millions of thoughts and opinions, and no one ever need to know. You can get virtually any piece of information from Google, and it is free.
Just like gold and silver are the enemies of the world’s paper fiat currencies, the internet is the enemy of big government. The internet can expose the follies and lies of politicians, and do it instantly. Eye witnesses to an event can go on line and tell how it happened. The internet is full of liars as well, and we all know that, but sensible people can tell the difference. As an example of the value of the internet, check out the following, which I believe to be true, and it may not be, but I can spread my opinion about it at no cost to me, and you can read it or discard it at no cost to you. Check it out.
Hey guys, are you getting bald? Hair thinning? Getting upset about it? I have a thick head of hair, and am glad of it. Maybe it’s because of something I read many decades ago, and maybe it’s heredity, I don’t know, but I pass it along for you to either laugh or try it. Neither will cost you anything. Years ago, when Mary Martin was playing in South Pacific on Broadway, she sang, “I’m gonna wash than man right out of my hair.” She really did wash her hair on stage for many years and sometimes twice a day. I am sure she also washed it after each show to get her makeup off. She remarked once that her hair got thicker and healthier the more she washed it, thanks to that act on stage, during the long run of South Pacific. All my life I have showered every morning, and especially since I heard Mary Martin say that, I have washed my hair every day and given it a good scrubbing with fingernails and shampoo. I also never wear a hat. Does my vigorously scrubbing my hair every day, stimulate the follicles and make my hair thicker and healthier? Does wearing hats or caps make the hair starve for air and make it come out or become unhealthy? I’m no doctor, but thanks to the internet, I can express my opinion on something which is so minor that it will probably never appear anywhere else. See, I didn’t rant and rave about anything. The pix at the top is current. Have a great weekend!
P.S. This price wash out is a buy opportunity, and nothing to be afraid of. Think of how much lower prices were a year ago. A lot lower!
