There is a consensus of all 16 “intelligence” groups of the government, that as I said would happen four years ago, the invasion of Iraq has inflamed the entire Muslim world and turned its adherents into a gigantic jihad against America. I have been looking over columns I wrote day after day, week after week in 2002,warning about what would happen if we invaded Iraq, and I was absolutely correct in every detail. I wish I were computer conversant enough to have indexed my columns as Gold Eagle does, so everyone could read past ones, but alas, after they are gone, they are gone, other than a copy I print and file for myself. I have been writing these three times a week columns for over five years now, and have accomplished nothing other than venting my spleen. I tried stopping a couple of years ago, and the outrage was furious, so I continue, at least for a while longer.
There is this war on terror, and as I have said before many times, if we hadn’t attacked the Muslims and supported Israel endlessly, they would have no reason to hate us. If we hadn’t poured probably a trillion bucks into Israel, and trillions into Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea, and other foolish attempts to convert the world into Uncle Sams, the buck may be a bit more valuable, and hundreds of thousands of Americans now dead may be alive, plus millions of innocents who are now dead as a result of our escapades. How does one conduct a ’war’ on some vague, undefined, ’thing,’ such as terror, rather than on a nation? Did Congress declare that ’war?’ How does one win such an undefined ’war?’ More bureaucracy and denial of citizens’ rights and privacy? Ask Dubya.
Let me say it again: We should be absolutely NEUTRAL, and participate in no overseas conflicts, nor support them, advise them, sell weapons to them, nor subsidize them in any way. Let them fare for themselves without our help or influence. Let Israel protect itself, defend itself, and if she needs help, let American and other Jews around the world send their bucks to her, not our government. Don’t give me this line of hooey about how we are an influence for good. We have been responsible for only mayhem, mutilation, death, and bankruptcies wherever we landed, fought, subsidized, and influenced. Turn Saddam loose, bring the troops home now, apologize for our interference, and get the hell out. Period. The mass media is still lying about what Saddam is charged with in his mock trial. It is not 140,000 murders, but a simple 140, and there are no witnesses to it so far. He was elected as president, and even though the election may have been fixed, he was elected. He maintained order in Iraq through his brutal, tyrannical means, but who had the right to topple him? Maybe that’s the way to keep them in line. Our way certainly isn’t working.
A judge in Denver has said that the electronic voting machines are OK, even though a man made one highly inaccurate and crooked in just a few seconds worth of tampering. A wise man once said that without paper ballots there can never be a fair election, and I agree.
