North Korea

First of all, it’s none of our business.  Neutrality is what we should adopt.  Since North Korea has exploded a nuclear device, it places China on the spot.  For decades, China has supported and fed North Korea, while Kim Il Jong and his father built the world’s largest army of over one million, with more arms than any nation on earth.  All the while, the army has sucked the nation dry and there are millions on the edge of starvation, while Jong rattles his sabers.  He says that like Iran, he will be glad to talk to Bush, and avoid this mess, but Bush won’t talk to either, which has to be the mark of a supremely stupid man. So Iran continues and Jong has blown his charge.  “Look Charlie, I am your neighbor and I plan on starting a reclamation plant next door to you, but maybe you can show me why I shouldn’t, so let’s talk.”  Would Charlie be willing to talk?  Damned right.  Not Dubya.

If China stopped feeding North Korea, it would collapse, and tens of millions of starving North Koreans would flood China, which China doesn’t want.  China also doesn’t want a nuclear, idiotic North Korea, and neither does Japan and South Korea.  What to do?  The UN is an absurdity, so there’s no solution there.  I have no idea what can be done, but I do know that if America were neutral, had no ships, planes, guns, and troops anywhere but here, they could solve their own problems.

I am still a registered republican, but does it really matter?  The republicans have goofed over and over again, be it a homo congressman, fat tub of a Speaker, Abramoff, Iraq, or a dozen other goofs, it matters not who takes control of either the Senate or House.  I must admit that I don’t look forward to Charlie Rangel being a committee head, but then the Constitution doesn’t call for “committees” anyway.  It has probably gone too far to correct. Just protect yourself, and hope for the best is all I can think of.  Happy Columbus Day…even though he didn’t discover America.  Yes I am open.
