More?

Why can’t we learn?  Forty years ago, LBJ insisted on a continual infusion of troops into Vietnam, eventually, as I remember, there were over 700,000, and still we lost.  More troops solved nothing.  Iraqis are outraged that their homeland has been invaded by foreign troops for no reason, and the way to stop violence against our troops is to get out NOW.  The Sunnis hate the Shih’s, and the Sunnis blew up a Shih Mosque, which greatly outraged the Shih’s, and on it will go, till they solve their own problems.  We’ve made enough of a mess of it already without compounding it further.  80% of Americans say don’t send in more troops, and most of the Congress agrees.  The fired generals say no more as well, and Bush said several times that he would, “Listen to the generals and do what they recommended.”  So he fires the generals.  The problem is that if there ever were any changes to our Constitution, it should be that the President is NOT the commander in chief.  Think about it.  The Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard are being commanded by a man with an IQ of under 100.  Bush looks like a deer caught in headlights, and acts about the same.  He is not a bright man, and there’s no question about that, but he is running the war he began, and which war should never have been started.  Just about everyone agrees with that!  But he continues with his tragic war.  Ever see the 1930 film, “All Quiet on the Western Front?”  That glorious film has lost none of its importance, and everyone should rent it and see just how tragic wars are.  Why not let the perpetrators of wars fight in them and have their kids go into the army?  Why not force Bush’s twins to join and go to Iraq, as well as the kids of the boobs who voted to allow Bush to have his absurd way?  Congress shuts down on Monday because of a football game!  Maybe they should shut down for every single sports game, and we’d all be a lot safer.
