70% of the world’s toys are made in China, and 80% of U.S. toys are made in China. The Chinese don’t give a good damn. They refuse to follow directions, formulas, and instructions. They are out to glom as many bucks as they can without their bad habits being discovered. When they are discovered, guess who pays? The American distributor who ordered and sold them here. Mattel is calling back 18 million or more, and will refund them at retail, not the wholesale they sold them at, nor the price they paid for them from the chinks. Hundreds, if not thousands of American dogs are dead and sick because of Chinese makers inserting foul chemicals into the food, which carried American name brands. Know who will get sued? Purina, not Hung Chow Lee, or whoever made the dog food. Colgate has discovered a Chinese imitation with the Colgate brand name. It makes one not like the Chinese too much, doesn’t it? And then there is (was) the huge Chinese showplace bridge, which was finished, to impress the tourists, and which collapsed when the scaffolding was removed. Trust them? No, but do we have a choice? I have a difficult time finding something not made in China.
Who is to blame? The manufacturers who had their stuff made in China with cheap labor and lax standards? Not really. It is the D.C. Gang, which has spent and printed endlessly, thereby making the buck so valueless, that in order for a person to eat, pay rent, and live a basic life, he must make at least twice the minimum wage. The D.C. Gang has made working near impossible with the EPA, OSHA, and other gobbledygook, alphabet soup agencies, which seem to have the power to judge and punish all in one move. Old man Walton’s kids are to blame also, (Wal Mart) for initiating the Chinese flood, which other merchandisers followed in rapid succession. The Chinks now have 1.3 trillion bucks in their treasury, with which to commit all sorts of havoc in America and the world. I really believe that if the Walton kids would gradually stop importing a few Chinese things, and pay to re-open American factories, even at a loss initially, and make stuff here, and convincing other retailers to stop buying those things from China, a nice trend could be started.
How about nail files, garden hose, or some small items which are all made in China? Suppose everyone who buys those items from China, could be persuaded to buy them American made, and never to buy another of these items again from China. Those Chinese factories would close. Eventually, maybe American made hoses or nail files could be exported to Europe, if they could be convinced to boycott those Chinese made items. European factories could re-open and export to America. Would our lifestyle go down a bit? Yes, because nail files and hose would cost more, but American workers would work, and American factories would re-open. Then if the D.C. Gang could be thrown out of office, troops brought home, earmarks obliterated, budgets balanced, the Constitution followed, with no federal welfare or subsidies of any kind to anyone or anything, as a beginning, America might once again become the envy of the world. I know, I am fighting history, because no nation which has begun to decay, inflate, and have government proliferate as has ours, has ever recovered to its former status or even close. How to get something like this started? I haven’t the remotest idea, because we are ruled by the D.C. Gang, and the military-industrial complex, which loves pointless wars, huge corporate entities, inflation, central banks, worthless money, and all powerful governments, all of which we have. I am afraid that all we can do is protect ourselves with gold and silver, arm ourselves, be debt free if possible, and try to get out of the big cities, which will be very dangerous as the years pass. Now everyone smile, as you indeed are probably on Candid Camera…federal version.
