Evolved?

A recent scientific study reveals that when a woman carries a baby, her spine sort of bends, therefore transferring the weight of the baby to her hips.  Wonderful design, which relieves stress and extra weight to be carried by the spinal column.  The catch is that these scientists say that woman has ’evolved’ into this great pregnancy position.  Oh come on now, you white robed, PhD boobs!  Why not admit it?  Why not say to your  colleagues and the media, that God created woman with a design allowing her to carry her unborn in comfort and with little chance of injury?  Why can’t we get off of this evolution BS?  One doesn’t have to have an IQ of even 90 to realize that elephants are always going to be elephants, fish are always going to be fish, and monkeys will always be monkeys. (Unfortunately, politicians will always be politicians.) What is the point of this gibberish which we feed to our kids via the public school system?  Speaking of public schools, I have an example right here where I live, and it can be repeated thousands of times throughout the US.

I love the little town where I live, and the school superintendent is a marvelous man, whom I have great respect, and know personally.  Many of the teachers are great too.  At my Kiwanis Club we have a ’student of the week’ award, and we depend on teachers to nominate their choice.  Unfortunately, many of the teachers are so totally, obviously inept, that it grosses me out.  Poor English, sloppy, and you name it.  Their nominees are usually described as being “A great kid,” or some such nonsense.  Were it left up to me, the nominee would have a 4.0 grade point average and perfect attendance.  The teachers who are obviously excellent and speak the King’s English well, usually bring in a student with that 4.0 grade point average and perfect attendance.  Locally, we passed ( I voted “No”) an $18 million bond issue to build more schools, better schools, etc.  The grade point average has gone down.

Why should schools be ’public?’  Why should schools be a burden on non parents who are saddled with huge property taxes to pay for schools they don’t use or even want?  Why shouldn’t parents be responsible for the education of their own kids?  You say that the kids may not get an education?  Well they aren’t now, even with public schools.  Those kids who have been raised well, disciplined and guided, usually rise to the top of their class in public schools, and those kids who were not raised well, usually are the trouble makers, aren’t getting educated, and drag the rest of the class down to their level.  No wonder private schools are blossoming.  Those parents who can afford private schools, after they have been sucked dry with huge property taxes to pay for the public schools, usually send their kids to a private school so they can be well educated.  If they can’t afford that, they will invariably home school.  Home and private schooled kids always exceed the grade levels of the public school riff-raff.

Please tell me why anything as important as schools, should be ’public?’  I can see public roads, with everyone paying a fuel tax to maintain them, although of course truckers pay but a fraction of the damage they cause, while your Ford or Mercedes weighs so little as to not cause any damage at all…but that’s another subject.  And speaking of another subject, Benazir Bhutto got hers now, didn’t she? Her brothers and father did also, for running against Pakistan’s ’establishment.’ Naturally, America has always been on the side of gangsters it seems, so of course Musharraf is our guy.  The media are full of everyone’s opinion as to what to do, and all the politicos and candidates are on the boob tube.  No one asked Ron Paul what he’d do, have they?  He’d say, like me, “Who cares?  Bring the troops home, be neutral, and let the rest of the world stew in their own juices, kill each other, burn everything in sight, and go straight to hell in a handbag.” It makes one wonder that if Ron Paul did get the nomination, would he live to see November?  Remember, they shot George Wallace and Kennedy.  Did Perot quit because of a threat to his life?  He probably would have won if he hadn’t quit and come back.  There have been dozens of  ’mysterious deaths and suicides’ of all those who were going to testify against, or knew too much about the Clintons.  America’s going to elect that hag?  I doubt it.

I really believe that all we can do is protect ourselves, and do so with a few guns and lots of gold and silver.  We just can’t imagine the ’behind the scenes’ powers that actually control things.  Corporate and government rule is what the world is experiencing.  If the internet ever goes down, it’ll be about over.  The internet, not gold and silver, are the biggest threats to the ’establishment.’  They can cut off the internet, but have a small chance of getting our gold.  Gold may be a threat to their paper money, but so few own it, that they have far bigger problems than our gold, which protects us.  They do their best to manipulate it and keep it down, but their combined efforts will fail.  How can a piece of paper, equal a tangible thing of any kind, shape, or size?  And when gold and silver are historic money for thousands of years, who can defeat their natural worth with pieces of paper?  Be logical people, and have a great weekend!  (It’s cold here!  We’ve had two years of snow already, and it isn’t even New Years.  Earth warming, you know.)
