The 12 million or so illegals in America today, are a huge cost to the taxpayers or to the dollar, choose one. Either we are paying through the nose for them, or they are sustained by printing press scrip, and I know it is the latter. Thanks to Jack S. for sending me this information. Here’s the cost for just one year’s benefits to illegals.
$11-$22 billion for welfare at state and federal levels.
$2.2 billion for food stamps, and free school breakfasts and lunches.
$2.5 billion for Medicaid
$12 billion for schooling illegals, with most not speaking a word of English.
$17 billion for schooling American born children of illegals, who are automatically ’citizens.’
$1.95 trillion for incarceration of non-law abiding illegals. (30% of jail inmates are illegals).
$200 billion for suppressed American wages caused by illegals.
Illegals have 2.5 times the crime rate of non-illegals.
Nearly one million sex crimes each year are committed by illegals.
In 2006, Illegals sent home $45 billion, which of course was not spent here.
During the year 2005, according to a homeland security report, from 4 to 10 Million illegals crossed our borders, and carried with them millions of pounds of cocaine, meth, marijuana and other illegal drugs.
The strange thing, is that in spite of an overwhelming desire of America to stop all illegals from crossing our borders and to get them OUT, the Congress, both Republican and Democrat, refuse to fund a fence that is impregnable, and have two border guards in prison for doing their job. Why? I have no idea.
