Rich part three

I wrote about ’wealth distribution’ in the last column. Quite obviously, under a freedom type of setup, wealth is created and distributed without government intervention, bureaucracy, and endless laws.  Freedom takes no note of race, birthplace, upbringing, physical location, or for that matter, intellect.  These things sort themselves out automatically in 99% of the cases, and of course with lots of pain, joy, achievement, losses, wealth, and frustration at times.  The old expression, “No pain, no gain,” is a pretty good saying.  Millions of people have worked themselves to the bone to achieve what they have, and millions more will never be wealthy, but will be free, regardless of their situation.

The other way to distribute, but not create wealth, began with the Federal Reserve. With the election of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, (FDR), the trend towards ultimate collapse and destruction began.  The wealth distribution (not creation) method modern day politicians use, is to try to equalize everyone, feel sorry for the poor, and do everything possible to see to it that no one is poor, sick, lame, unemployed, hated, or disadvantaged in any way.  A totally leveled society, and now even a totally leveled world, is what the D.C. Gang, United Nations, IMF, World Bank, and every other power structure is aiming for, and seeming to be successful in obtaining, so far.  Under this system, no one will be rich…except those running the show of course…and we will all be little robots, begging for our daily bread, but of course the power elite will not admit this.

Our Constitution has a few little flaws, but on the whole, it is one of the greatest freedom documents ever written.  The Constitution gives no permission for this current type of wealth distribution.  It gives no permission for a ’Presidential Cabinet,’ whith their respective bureaucracies and tens of thousands of bureaucrats roaming the land at will, regulating, fining, and judging everything they take a fancy to, without regard to, or even knowing what the word ’freedom’ means.  Our Constitution gives no permission to subsidize anything, and this includes Social Security, Medicare, Food Stamps, and a thousand other taxes and subsidies which the D.C. Gang, with their self assumed power, see fit to administer, tax, subsidize, and regulate.  Our Constitution gives no power for a President to go to war without a vote of the Congress, which it hasn’t given since 1941.  Our Constitution gives no permission for equalizing anything, interfering with the marketplace, or forcing integration of any kind.  Freedom has always automatically integrated things in all fields, sooner or later, given a chance.  Our Constitution gives no permission for a federal government to meddle with, fine, tax, or regulate the individual states.  99% of the ’power’ that comes from Washington D.C., is unauthorized by our Constitution.  Our Constitution doesn’t give permission for the federal government to own anything other than forts, and a few little things, but certainly not highways, airports, forests, and millions of abused acres, mostly in the west.

GOVERNMENTS CREATE NO WEALTH.  GOVERNMENTS AT ALL LEVELS, CONSUME WEALTH.  THEY FORCIBLY REDISTRIBUTE WEALTH CREATED BY PRODUCTIVE SOCIETY, AND MANY TIMES WITHOUT ITS CONSENT.

If we were back to the previous 1910 I mentioned in the last column, we would still be at the same point we were then, only with modern day inventions and developments.  The individual states would have built highways as they saw fit, and if airlines saw fit, they would have built airports and safety systems.  Maybe a state would want to institute a welfare system, and the obvious high taxes to pay for it. That state would attract freeloaders, and see the exodus of the productive class, and the welfare system would probably be abandoned pretty quickly. If a state wanted to build a super highway system, it might have to charge tolls to pay for it, because the state taxpayers probably wouldn’t want to pay for it with their taxes. If a state wanted to build huge public schools, rather than letting the marketplace and parents educate, as freedom dictates, the taxes required, may make citizens of that state say a hearty ’No,’ and that would fix that. Just think about how totally controlling, expensive, and absurd, the D.C. Gang has become.  Jobs have fled overseas, the dollar value has diminished by 98% since 1910, bureaucrats, regulations, fines, and harassment are everywhere, and we no longer make what we use and even grow all of what we eat.

If we could return to 1910, with modern inventions, we would be making the world’s best autos, elevators, TV sets, tires, tractors, machinery, telephones, and every manufactured thing.  We would still be exporting everything, importing virtually nothing, and growing what we eat.  We wouldn’t have people in India answering our phones and doing tax returns. Thousands of containers from China, would not be unloading at our shores every month and returning empty.  China probably would still be the backward, communist controlled, oligarchy it was before declining dollars tempted Wal Marts and other big box stores to patronize it, Japan, Korea, and other cheap labor countries, thereby setting an irreversible trend.  We would still be the envy of the world, like we were in 1910, rather than a laughing stock, and being pitied for the obvious error of our government’s ways, which we can not seem to control.  As Zimbabwe and Burma currently illustrate, governments usually care for themselves, not their citizenry.

Under the D.C. Gang, there are taxes on everything, not just incomes.  Today, no one is allowed to fail, except the productive class.  Today, millions pay no taxes, eat free, and get free medical care, all paid for with huge taxes and printing press dollars, which are unavoidable taxes.  It is now illegal for a hospital to refuse medical treatment for anyone.  Some say that the entire tax chain, from mine and farm to retail, including all the property, transportation, communication, manufacturing, distribution, fuel, and labor taxes, plus others I can’t even think of, is probably 95%.  Thanks to subsidies for the unworthy, our once grand cities are rubble in many cases, and there is an underclass of criminals, deadbeats, druggies, and ’graffiti artists,’ which would make anyone alive in 1910, want to go back to the grave, if they could witness current America.  Today, thanks to the Federal Reserve and government influence and propaganda, there are millions of foreclosures, bad debts, bad loans, and repossessions galore.  There seem to be more cars for sale on lots than there are on roads.  Our economy is on the verge of repeating the 1929 disaster, and for the same reason.  Think I am exaggerating?  In 1929, everyone thought stocks would go up forever, and people were borrowing 100% from foolish lenders.  The ’dot.com’ boom cost $7 trillion in losses.  Stocks were going to go up forever.  The burst real estate boom, where prices were going to go up forever, as in 1929’s stocks, saw lenders doing the same as in 1929; lending 100% or more. In 1929, there were few auto loans, no credit cards, and there was full manufacturing capability. The depression, which began in 1929 with the stock market crash, got progressively worse, as the chain of events of layoffs, bankruptcies and foreclosures continued for years, till WW II.    The same 1929 chain will happen now, and hopefully not end with a foolish attack on Iran.  Today, the debts, even counting depreciated dollars, make 1929 seem like a bump in the road.  We are dependent on foreign imports for about everything we need and use, and foreign nations have about had enough of declining value dollars.   In 1929, the dollar was strong and there was no inflation.  What will we trade with?  Who would want our dollars?  What can we make, now that all our factories are burned, empty, or non existent?

You’d like to return to the way things were in 1910?  I don’t blame you, but I have no idea of how to do it, other than a revolution, which is highly unlikely.  Remember how Ron Paul was laughed at as being a ’radical?’  Remember how few votes he got?  This shows conclusively, how utterly uneducated and incapable of logical thought, the American citizen really is.  Can anyone give me one good reason why we invaded Afghanistan, Iraq, Korea, or Vietnam?  Is there one logical reason why we are a member and great supporter of the United Nations?  Can anyone give me one good reason why the privately owned Federal Reserve is allowed to create dollars out of thin air, and then loan them to the US Government at interest?  Interest paid with tax dollars and printing press money?  Can anyone explain to me how a $53 trillion committed debt can possibly repaid? About all we can do is protect ourselves by getting out of dollars, and into historic money, which is gold and silver.  At least these are my opinions, for what they may be worth.  Have a great weekend.
