Iran?

The Jerusalem Post says that according to overheard ’official’ conversations, Bush will invade Iran before his term is ended in November.  If these are his plans, has he taken leave of what senses he might still possess, assuming he ever had any in the first place?  Stop and think about it.  Our troops are worn out, going AWOL, and committing suicide, so stressed are they.  They are doing as much as three times the tours of duty as troops did in WW II.  We have filled Iraq with huge amounts of radioactivity from using depleted uranium ammunition.  Several thousand tons of radioactive soil has been shipped from Kuwait, to be buried in America at a disposal site, thanks to using DU ammo in Kuwait.  It’s difficult to imagine how much soil is radioactive in Iraq.  Tens of thousands of severely injured American soldiers are returning with disease from DU ammo, stress, amputations, previously unknown infections, mental disorders, and severe depression, whether it is admitted or not.  Tens of thousands have lost their jobs, marriages, families, and health, thanks to Iraq.  Tens of thousands joined  the National Guard, and never intended to have their lives, marriages, careers, and health ruined…but that is what has happened.  In Afghanistan, the Taliban appears to be gaining strength as fighting continues midst abandoned Russian tanks and artillery, left from when the Ruskies had enough and left many years ago.

Invading Iran, with the lack of strength we have, is impossible.  Invading Iran, would be a catastrophe, utter stupidity, and any other adjective one can conjure up to describe something as asinine as invading Iran.  Osama bin Laden still hasn’t been found.  Immediately after 9/11, Osama said he had nothing to do with it, and if any of my readers have even the slightest bit of suspicion or logic, it is pretty obvious that 9/11 was an inside job, which had nothing to do with Osama bin Laden.  So, why did we invade Afghanistan?  Why did we invade Iraq?  Why can’t we find Osama bin Laden, if we’re so smart and mighty?

If Iran is invaded, it will be Israel who will do it, since they are well armed, but I hope they don’t.  If they did, would we back them and start WW III?  Israel begged Bush not to go into Iraq, but he paid no attention, nor did the Congress.  We all begged him not to go, but the stupid Republican majority had their way.  What a mess.  Where are all the profits from Iraq oil, which were supposed to pay for the rebuilding, and unite the nation?  One wise man, who I love to talk to, says that Obama will get the nomination, no matter who wins what, because if he doesn’t, all the black voters will stay home on election day, and it will hopelessly fracture the Democratic Party.

Ever wonder what that huge bulge in McCain’s left cheek and neck is?  Are “they” keeping the stock market propped up till after the November elections?  Are silver and gold like a big, wound-up spring, just waiting to explode?  How much longer will people be happy with a 2% interest savings account, when fuel, food, and other prices have gone up 250% in the past six years?  Wages haven’t gone up even a fraction of the true increase in the cost of living. How long can those who drive freeways to get to work, pay $4 a gallon for gas, and survive?  How much lower can home prices go?  The chain reaction from hundreds of thousands of layoffs, store closings, and hedge fund collapses, hasn’t even begun to be felt, in my opinion.  Many rich people were wiped out when their hedge fund collapsed.  What is left of a once great America?  We no longer make what we consume, our currency is becoming a joke, is backed by nothing, and a trillion of them are being printed, just for the Iraq and Afghanistan tragedies.  The Fed is continually pouring printing press dollars into the big commercial banks to keep them afloat. There are millions of used and new cars and houses for sale, with few to buy them. When all the credit cards are maxed out, and millions are hungry, will hundred dollar bills be dropped from helicopters?  Dollar prices of everything are going higher all the time because of increasing diesel fuel prices  At American Axle, workers are asked to lower their wages by $10 an hour, just to keep their jobs and the plants open.  How much of the high oil prices are the result of an Enron type of financial gimmicking?  I know, the demand is high and dollar low, but oil keeps going up quickly, without anything I can see causing it.  The Enron gang ruined California electric rates with their tactics.  Is the same monkey business going on the same way with oil?  When oil goes up $3 in a matter of hours, with no increase in consumption or demand in those hours, is something fishy?  The dollar didn’t go down nor demand go up that fast!  You figure.
