July 4th and Thanksgiving, are my two favorite holidays, both of which celebrate our heritage. Unfortunately, America is on the skids, and I don’t know how to stop its fall. Example: The Famous New York Empire State Building has just been bought by Arabs for $900 million. The Chinese have over a trillion US dollars in cash in their safes, and with this amount of dollars, they could buy many small towns, or maybe even part of a state! The Saudis have been collecting dollars by the billions for many decades, and I can only imagine what they could buy with their savings. It’s absolutely frightening.
And to think that all this happened because of 535 men and women, who have been elected to serve and protect us? I don’t spend more than I take in. Do you? They have spent recklessly since FDR’s time, and it can only get worse, The “official” debt is only $9 trillion, but committed future expenditures for Medicare, Social Security, and myriad other handouts, total more like $50 trillion, which is an amount which is not only incomprehensible, but un-payable, other than with printing press money, created out of nothing. Your dollars are doomed, in other words, and you’d better get out of them and quickly.
I cannot find a reason for us being in Iraq, or Afghanistan. Nor could I ever find a reason for us being in Korea or Vietnam. I cannot understand why there is a governmental welfare system of any kind, either. Private welfare? Of course, because it is voluntary, and you can pick to whom you wish to give. On the 4th of July, I will be glad I am an American, and am proud of the Founders who blazed a trail from Mother England, and wrote our Constitution. But my God, how it has all gone so wrong! I’ll be in Silverton Colorado, where it is cool, the parade lasts an hour, and the fireworks are the best in Colorado. We’ll sit around a campfire and drink beer and have a good time, but my mind will continually wonder how to get out of this mess. I have no answer.
Take the upcoming election for President: The half breed Obama seems to be ahead, and if he is elected, it is a certain disaster. He hasn’t even finished his first term in the Senate, and already is the most liberal of all the hundred. Do we really want a pseudo-Muslim to occupy our White House? A man who for twenty years adhered to, and loved a church which hates whites, Jews, and even America? Is the White House going to be turned in to the Black House because of a man with a way with words?
While I can’t stand McCain either, the Libertarian candidate is an ex-Republican who voted all wrong when he was in office, so he’s out. Since Colorado is a so called ’swing state;’ for the first time in my life, I will pick the lesser of two evils, which is McCain, rather than voting for the best man. There is no best man running in November. Ron Paul was rejected. They’re all virtually worthless, but Obama is the most worthless of all, and I will do everything I can to see that he is defeated, and I hope you readers will also. Enjoy the fourth with a fifth, as the old saying goes, and by all means have a good time. Fly your flag, enjoy the fireworks, picnics, and festivities. Try to think of a way to stop our decline. I can think of no way, so I continually urge everyone to protect themselves.
