I Don’t mean potatoes and cabbage, but the President and Congress. Those 436 men and women, have ruined us and our nation. Look at what’s wrong, and ask yourself, who did it? Who got us into two absurd, needless, expensive, life taking, current wars? The P&C. Who spends, spends, and spends without end, thereby destroying the dollar? The P&C. Who has not only gotten us into the two current wars, but now continuously tells America that these brave men have “fought for their country,” or “fought for freedom,” which is not true. They’re fighting for the whims and errors of the P&C. I am supremely proud of our servicemen and women, (although I don’t think there should be female soldiers). These brave souls have gone to fight in a hostile, hot, dry climate, and die, they have been told…for their country. Or is it Cheney’s Halliburton? It’s the P&C who sent them there, that I deeply object to. These people have been at each other for 5,000 years, and the P&C thought we ought to interfere? So they cocked up a fake story about 9/11. How outrageous!
During Wilson’s WW I, all manner of lies and propaganda were used to convince America that it was was necessary and ’patriotic’ for America to involve itself. You were considered unpatriotic if you opposed the war, and it is said that 175,000 were arrested for opposing the war publicly. All the artists were brought out, and the most famous poster of all, was James Montgomery Flagg’s poster of Uncle Sam pointing to the viewer and saying, “I Want You.” Writers Booth Tarkington and Isadora Dunkin became flag wavers for the war, and one of the most famous of all patriotic songs was, “Over There.” (Over there, Over there. Send the word, send the word, over there. That the Yanks are coming, the Yanks are coming. The drums drumming everywhere. We’re coming over, we’re coming over, and we won’t come back till its over over there.) George M. Cohan wrote that one. Walter Lippman, one of the most famous of writers, decided that if Americans didn’t like the war, they were “mentally children or barbarians,” and needed to be directed by the likes of him to straighten out their mental errors. WW I was a time before radio and TV, so speeches buttons, posters, and lots of flag waving did the trick. The ’trick’ was to convince Americans that the war, which was practically over, and which had absolutely nothing to do with America, was right for us to get into, and lose tens of thousands of lives. It was a fraud.
WW II was a bit different, and has been called “The last good war,” which it may or may not have been. Many people, including me, believe that FDR goaded Japan into attacking us, we knew it was going to happen, and it was a good way to get us out of the depression. When we declared war on Japan, Germany declared war on us, and FDR had his way, with another 362,000 dead, and millions injured.
Korea was the brainchild of ’The buck stops here’ Harry Truman, and aside from being foolish, having nothing to do with us, being no threat of any kind, and damned expensive; it killed 50,000 Americans, who were either unconstitutionally drafted, or volunteered to “protect their country,” or some such nonsense.
Vietnam was started by JFK, and brought to its ultimate end, with us losing, by LBJ, one of the worst of Presidents. More dollar depreciation, and another 59,000 dead, for no earthly reason, thanks to the C&P. Tens of thousands of brave troops became addicted to drugs and have never been ’normal’ since. God bless them, and a curse on the C&P who sent them there. Tourists now go to Vietnam. Neither Korea nor Vietnam can be chalked up as a ’win’ for America.
Then we have the current Iraq, which also is a total fraud and deception by the P&C, and glommed onto by the media. The brave troops, which you have to love and admire, are fighting for nothing, against people who have been fighting with each other for thousands of years. Iraq was ruled with an iron hand by Saddam, but it worked, and Iraq was whole. Now it is wrecked, torn asunder, and like Humpty Dumpty, can never really be put back together again. Bush the second, said that Iraq was responsible for 9/11, and of course that is a total and absolute lie. Still, the C paid attention to P and off we went again to a stupid war.
Afghanistan? What possible reason can there be for us to be there? To overthrow the Taliban? The Taliban prohibited the growing of heroin, and made the whole place a virtual prison, and especially for the women and children, but so what? It’s none of our business. Now there are thousands of acres of poppy grown, from which comes heroin, and we’re losing, just like the Ruskies did decades before. We’re still dodging the wrecked Soviet tanks and guns which they abandoned when they skedaddled out of there with their tails between their legs.
Thanks to the absurd wars and deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent and brave troops, our dollars have sunk like the Titanic, millions of jobs have fled, and inflation seems to be on the verge of runaway. Why do the C&P get us into wars? I have no idea. It doesn’t end with tragic wars. There’s the un-Federal no-Reserve, which creates gazillion dollars out of nothing, and sells them to government on time, and then collects interest on what they have virtually zero investment. Why do the C&P permit this to continue? Why don’t they chuck the Fed out, and print their own money? At least then there wouldn’t be any interest to pay.
Why do the C&P lie about virtually everything? That reason I do know. They lie about everything, because if the true figures were known about inflation, probably Iraq troop deaths, and dozens of other things, their hold on the American mentality and media might evaporate. If that happened, there would probably be riots, and the bag and baggage might be thrown out. Let’s suppose that Washington D.C., and the entire C&P, plus all their various agencies and bureaucrats, were either ignored, overthrown, voted out, or abandoned. What would America be like? Easy! 50 individual state governments, no more mandates, no more IRS, no more wars, federal goons probing their way into our very blood streams, and no national elections. Whoopee. Do we need the C&P, except for getting us into wars and passing endless laws which we’d all be better off without? Can the railroads and airlines investigate their own accidents without the DOT? Can homes be built and loans given without HUD? Can schools operate without the DOE? Couldn’t the National Parks be privately operated for a profit, without the Interior Dept? Couldn’t carpenters, welders, and mechanics do their jobs without OSHA? Couldn’t miners mine without MSHA? Couldn’t doctors and surgeons keep us healthy, toys be safe, and a thousand other things do just fine without the C&P? Do we really need the EPA? Pittsburgh was utterly filthy, and cleaned itself up in 1949, without an EPA. Do we really need to try to be the policeman of the world? Do we really enjoy making hundreds of millions of people hate us when we invade their lands and tell them what we think they should do?
Would China be anything but millions of rickshaws and peasants, if we hadn’t relinquished our once mighty power base, freedom, and strong dollars? Everyone used to love our products and the output of our minds and factories. Now, we are laughed at and pitied, thanks to the C&P. Everyone’s excited about the November elections, and that’s all one hears about if one watches the boob tube. Sure, McCain is much better than Obama, but remember, America has become a non-thinking nation, transfixed by TV, and like Cuba and Germany, seems to be falling in love with the orator. Obama might win, thus driving another nail in our coffin. We should certainly do everything in our power to see that the White House doesn’t become the “Black House.”
Now about silver: There is no silver shortage. Just a shortage of manufacturing ability. The mint which makes the blanks for the Royal Canadian Mint for their silver Maple Leafs, the blanks for the US Mint for their Silver Eagles, the A-Mark rounds, and the ten ounce bars, is overwhelmed and working 24/7. Yes, you can book in any amount of silver at current prices, but you might have to wait 3 weeks for delivery. Johnson-Mathey does the best they can with their 100 ounce bars, but are way behind. We can’t help it! All we can do is be patient and know that if we bought at a certain price, we will get it at that price, with a bit of delay. Even Krugerrands are becoming a bit short, making the Credit Suisse one ounce bars a far better buy. No shortage of gold, but new Krugerrands from South Africa, after customs and red tape would cost about the same as Gold Eagles, so why mess with them? The older ones we are all using, buying, and selling, are being bought up and not sold, and therefore a shortage. Not of gold, but of old Krugerrands. There is an unprecedented demand for gold and silver, because of all the people who are beginning to wake up around the world, and not just here. When there is a real silver shortage, the ratio will plummet, and silver will be more than three times higher than it is now. When will 16 to 1 come back? I have no idea, but I know it will, thereby making silver a better buy, LONG TERM, not short term. We’re here to help! Be patient!
