I have added my daughter Melissa to the company. Check the web site and see the difference. As an example, you easterners can now buy gold now, and silver eventually, at 8AM Eastern Time, rather than having to wait till 10AM, as in the past. Melissa lives about an hour north of New York City, and she’s on line now. This also gives us an extra two hours a day to operate Colorado Gold, as well as adding a third person to alleviate the congestion and busy signals. David will now be on line at 8AM his time, which means that you can get us an hour earlier in central time. All three of us are working from 8 to 4, our respective times.
Every day, I hear of customers who have tried in vain to convince friends, relatives and even mates, of the beauty and sense of placing one’s surplus assets in tangibles such as gold and eventually, silver. (I don’t know when we will be able to take silver orders again!). Everyone just loves the dollar, and investing in them. The paper dollar is a contrived gag. An elaborate hoax, which to me, none but those tottering in senility would invest in, they are so fictitious as to actual value. The D.C. Gang and their dollars, are a gigantic cabal of mediocrity, endorsed by mendacity; of superficiality sponsored by superciliousness, and are totally devoid of value, honor, and integrity. Their dollars lose value and purchasing power each time the sun rises or the second hand moves. The sponsoring and printing gang, meets and indulges in locker room smirks of, “That’s the way we pay our bills,” in the face of an administration whose depth of ignorance and corruption, has yet only been guessed at, so deep it is. They loft themselves in platitudes about integrity, public obligations, responsibility, and all the other sanctimonious jazz that communications moguls admire to hear after their third glass of the true elixer of life, known locally as Jack Daniels, Beefeater, or Johnny Walker, and only occasionally, if ever, enjoy skirmishes with real life on the outside of their hallowed halls and meeting rooms.
The little ban of of twitching ancients, many palsied and shaken, known as Senators, cabinet members, and assorted other members of the “in” crowd in D.C., vainly try to imitate a now vanished age of giants, as they indulge in payoffs, whores, earmarks, and kickbacks, while preaching preposterous sermons of dollar value and stability. The D.C. Gang, and their fake currency, printed by the millions an hour, are mere pieces of paper, backed by nothing.
Since gold and silver have been actual, real, historic, money, throughout the ages, and in all civilizations, why can’t people see it, and get it? You can’t spend it? You can’t spend a stock, bond, or bank book either. You have to sell a bond, stock, or cash in a savings account to get the dollars to spend. Selling gold and silver to get dollars, is a lot easier and quicker than selling a stock or bond, with no penalty for not keeping them a certain length of time, as in a CD. Of course, I admit that how could the majority of Americans get it, when they voted for Obama? I know, I preach to the choir, but when I hear about few ’getting it,’ I get a bit angry at not only them, but the gang which prints and distributes them. What a fraud!
Layoffs are the buzz word now, and few companies or industries are exempt. The moments of exultation are over, I am afraid. Fascination with real money in the forms of gold and silver will grow, instead of diminishing. It will be ever more apparent that the hull of the buck has been fatally holed, and water is pouring in, with no little Dutch Boy to stick his finger in to abate the flow. No, the dollar will not become like the dinosaurs, but please expect it to buy continually less, as each week of the Obama Presidency and his fellow Democrats proceeds, wallowing in an atmosphere of continual hooray.
The Bush Administration, was and still is the ultimate disaster, which McCain probably could not hope to have defeated, regardless of efforts and dollars spent and contributed. Obama will find it difficult to be even more foolish than Bush has been, although an unabashed try is in the works. Obama seems to be a peacenick, which speaks well of him perhaps, as I can see no reason for either Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, or Afghanistan. A pox on Bush and his followers who blindly followed him into the impenetrable mysticism of Muslim lands, from which, extracation will be difficult. Lick your wounds, heal your deep hurts, and remember that immortal phrase uttered at the close of Gone With The Wind: “Oh well, tomorrow’s another day.”
