Addict

I am writing this on Martin Luther King Day, a man who I intensely dislike.  Why?  Because in spite of his proclaiming ’peace:’ Everywhere he went, violence broke out, as if it were an automatic response.  King cheated endlessly on his wife, had hoards of communist associates, and even cheated on his doctrinal thesis.  Many of his speeches were plagiarized, and copied word for word from another’s speech given years earlier.  He, like Hitler, Castro, Obama, and FDR, were great speakers, and could move people effortlessly.  MLK Day is the only holiday which has nothing to do with a President, and in order to make King’s ’day’ legal, the Congress obliterated George Washington’s birthday. and made it “President’s Day.”  The endless adoration of King over the years, has made people addicted to his name so much, that he is actually an object of worship.  If you repeat a lie often enough, it often becomes a truth, true or not. 

Abe Lincoln, has become an object of virtual worship by Republicans, even though he was responsible for the War Between the States and death of over 620,000 persons.  Lincoln was responsible for outrageous civil rights violations towards those who opposed his war, such as denying habeas corpus, and prosecuting opposition newspaper editors.  The list of Lincoln’s outrages have been conveniently overlooked, glossed over, and hidden by historians and Republicans to such an extent, that he is loudly proclaimed to have ’freed the slaves,’ when he did no such thing.  How could he have ’freed the slaves,’ in states which had seceded, and with whom he was at war and invading?

Americans, and even the world, are so addicted to government, that it is sickening.  When the US Air plane landed in the Hudson River last week, look at the addiction.  The heroic pilot called ’Mayday’ to the airport, explaining that that birds had knocked out his engines, and he was headed for the drink.  The news reported that it was birds that ’supposedly’ killed his engines, but that the NTSB  would rule. The pilot didn’t know?  We have to wait for those bureaucrats to ’rule?’ How much do you think the NTSB bureaucrats and hangers on cost?  The news broadcasters are so addicted to government, that they modified their news until the NTSB could ’officially’ rule.  Please tell me, how did we ever get along without the NTSB?  Did we have accidents before the NTSB?  Did we discover accident causes before the NTSB?  Will the NTSB’s total waste ever be realized, and the whole thing disbanded and bureaucrats fired?  No, because we are addicted to government and every damned thing it says.  Government has convinced us that a perp. caught on film, or witnessed by a dozen eye-witnesses, is not a criminal, but a ’suspect.’  Deliver me.

Since the Department of Education educates not a single child or adult, but gobbles up billions a year, not counting the trouble it causes local school boards and systems, is there even a remote chance it will be disbanded?  Of course not.  After all, wouldn’t the entire education system collapse without it?  That’s the opinion of the addicted populace, I am sure.  And speaking of education, we are so addicted to the public school system, it is widely assumed that without it, no one would get educated, which is a total falsehood.  Before the property tax grabbing, hugely costly public schools, Americans were far more literate and better educated than they are now.  Home schooling and private schools, prove beyond a doubt, that the public schools are a failure, and very expensive. I sold my chain of ice cream parlours to a man who was the purchasing agent for one of America’s largest public school systems.  He stored his kickbacks in Mexico, and paid me with money orders from his stashed cash in Mexico.  Why doesn’t Obama send his kids to Public schools?  Why does he send them to Sidwell Friends?  Because he knows public schools are rotten to the core, and for all practical purposes are mere baby sitters.

Why don’t Americans think, and realize that the huge federal government is so big, so expensive, and so over-riding of civil rights, personal rights, and even logic and good sense, that it should be abolished, and return to its Constitutional origins?  Why do they accept the propaganda issued by the D.C. Gang, that the “Patriot Act” is patriotic, rather than a destroyer of freedoms and patriotism?  Why do they not realize that the Federal Reserve is not ’federal,’ and has no ’reserves,’ but rather is sucking the lifeblood out of us on a daily basis?  Why is America so addicted to ’news’ issued by the networks, that they believe their dollars are stable and supreme?  Do Americans really believe that without the Department of Transportation, nothing would get transported?  How in the world did transport ever operate, without the DOT?

Americans really do believe that government can give them something, without first taking it from them.  They really do believe that by giving Citibank $45 billion, it will ’save’ something that needs to be saved, even though Citibank cannot explain where the $45 billion went, and also that it needs more.  As Obama takes office when this piece is posted, we are hearing about the transferring of “power.”  “Power” is what makes D.C. run.  “Power” not given it by our Constitution, but taken by bureaucrats with the blessings of the Congress and President.  “Power,” to lord it over us, regiment us, and debilitate us mentally into thinking that the D.C. Gang needs, deserves, and will use “power” in ways which will benefit us all, rather than slowly bankrupt and enslave us.

I am really afraid that Americans, as a group, have mentally failed.  They have been brainwashed by inane sit-coms, and endless commercials which proclaim every possible fantasy if you’ll just buy or order some absurdity or get your doc to prescribe it.  They have failed, by being addicted to not only TV, but to government promises of pie in the sky, which always result in higher prices, and more over-powering government.  Americans have mentally failed, and are addicted to government to such an extent, that the Founders revolted long before they reached the state of taxation and confiscation that we are at now.  Americans are so addicted to the failed public school system, that they are unknown victims of it, resulting not only in being unable to reason and think, but are determined to keep the schools, bureaucracies, and other nonsense, which daily further destroy their minds and ability to think.  American’s addiction to phony real estate scams, ’money handlers and advisors,’ several of which have absconded with dozens of billions, credit cards, time shares, no money down schemes, the stock market, which has no reason to be where it is, and even Obama, who has aroused the excitement of hundreds of millions, for no known reason.

Americans are so brain addled, addicted to government utterances and promises, that they are unable to even invest for themselves, without ’licensed’ advisors, who know nothing but diminishing in value dollars.  Americans are addicted to prescription drugs, fast, nutrition-less, food, inane rap ’music,’ (sic), and have been addicted to calling negroes “African Americans,” which is a total corruption of the English language.  Since it became illegal to import negroes after 1808, obviously, they are not ’African-Americans,’ but Americans.  The power elite in D.C. have taken power unconstitutionally, and it’s high time it was removed from them, one bureaucracy at a time.  Will Obama do that?  Will he extinguish the Department of Education?  Department of Transportation?  Or, will he install a “Secretary of the Arts” or “Car Czar?”  According to the news, “A wave of optimism is sweeping the country.” Things don’t look too good to me, and other than protecting ones self, I see no solutions.
