Obama said that, “Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”
I don’t think so, because many Muslims love to suicide bomb innocents, which includes American soldiers, plus hundreds, or even thousands of innocents. Of course, since the bombers are Muslim, they achieve instant paradise and lots of virgins. Since females are now suicide bombing, I wonder if they get lots of male virgins? Christians doing such a thing would suffer a far different reward, and America is a basically Christian nation.
I don’t think so, because pirates are Muslims, and capture innocent Americans and others in their ships, holding them for huge ransoms.
I don’t think so, because the “American Story,” includes the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and Thanksgiving for the first Pilgrims, and there were no Muslims in on that, nor were there any Muslim signatures on the votes for adopting the Constitution in 1789.
I don’t think so, because there were no Muslims fighting with George Washington, when he was fighting the British for our independence.
I don’t think so, because as far as I can tell, there were no Muslims in America until recently, say in the last fifty years or so. I can’t remember any Muslims taking part in the 1960’s civil rights movement, marching with Martin Luther King, signing on to various civil rights petitions, or parading about demanding equality or the like.
I don’t think so, because there were no Muslims in our armed forces during WW II, Korea, or Vietnam. There certainly aren’t any now, fighting their own people in Iraq and Afghanistan, which are Muslim Nations.
I don’t think so, because the popular opinion is that it was Muslims that flew hijacked planes into the World Trade Centers on 9/11, and crashed one into the Pentagon. Is that ” The American Story” you refer to, Mr. President?
I don’t think so, because on November 5th, last year, at Ft Hood, a devout Muslim slaughtered innocent American soldiers.
I don’t think so, because Muslim males seem to have the height of a male superiority complex, and insist that their women wear burkas and be totally subservient to their men. Americans aren’t at all like that, and we find Muslim treatment of women disgusting. We love to look at beautiful women, which is the total opposite of Muslim practice. We want them to vote, drive cars and wear shorts, which is the opposite of Muslim opinion.
I don’t think so, because until recently, America had no Muslim mosques, but hundreds of thousands of Christian churches. and Jewish Synagogues.
I don’t think so, because Christian America believes in, and worships Jesus Christ and God his father, not a “Prophet” born several hundred years later, and who supposedly lived a non-just life. America was founded on Christianity, and America doesn’t at all identify with your “Prophet.” American Jews do not identify with you either, because you are constantly trying to destroy Israel.
Mr. President, you seems to relish bowing down to Muslim potentates in foreign lands. I wouldn’t do that, and I think you are a closet Muslim yourself, whether you admit it or not, but 99.99% of the rest of us Americans aren’t. Did you delete the words ’Jesus Christ’ in your Easter message, when quoting a prayer uttered many years ago, substituting another phrase? We’re Christians and Jews. We all just wish we knew something about your history, and we wish that you would provide an authentic birth certificate, to prove you are legally entitled to hold the office you now hold. We mostly think that you are not a Constitutionally authorized President, regardless of your probable Muslim beliefs. We strongly disagree with your statement that, “Islam has always been part of the American Story.”
P.S. We lost a little dog yesterday, and it grieves my wife and I very much. When you have a wonderful little dog for more than a decade, and she has suddenly gone to doggie heaven, the grief is terrible. It is as bad as watching your country succumb to socialism, czars, ever increasing bureaucracy, taxes, and totalitarianism. If there is a glimmer of hope in 2010, it is the Tea Party Movement. There is a book out which you should get. It is “Our Fathers Weep,” and it is the Tea Party book. I have ordered two from Amazon, but have not gotten them yet. I am sure that each book ordered, will add to the Tea Party reserves, which they need. Why not order one or two? Someone asked me if I was angry when I wrote Last Thursday’s column. I suppose the answer is, ’no more than usual, watching my country go down right before my eyes.’
