Why Do They Hate Us?

The Muslims that is; or at least partially why Muslims dislike the United States.  On September 22, 1980, Iraq attacked Iran.  Saddam was our guy, and we pressured everyone to loan Iraq money, send them arms, and even chemical weapons, which they used against Iran.  Our Agriculture Department, pressured the Export-Import Bank to give Iraq money so they could buy our grain, which made grain growers here happy.  We didn’t like Iran, because they held our hostages for 444 days, beginning November 4, 1979, and releasing them on January 20, 1981, co-incidentally after Ronnie Reagan took office.  Some say that there was a bit of hanky panky going on with that mysterious release, after Jimmy Carter had failed.

It all really began back in the early 1950’s under Eisenhower.  A democratically elected Mohammed Mossadeq, who nationalized British oil interests in Iran, was overthrown by a C.I.A. sponsored and engineered coup d’?tat, which placed  Shah Pahlavi in office, and this angered the Iranians to no end.  The Shah received endless U.S. loans, gifts, support, and every known method to sway opinions.  The Shah went to the White House regularly, and donated lots of money to American universities and cultural groups.  All the while Iranians seethed with resentment over their un-elected ’leader.’  Finally, under Carter, the Shah got cancer, and was admitted to the US for treatment, against everyone’s advice.  That was all it took for a revolution to occur in Iran. The Shah was ousted, and Ayatollah Khomeini took power.  Khomeini was the head not only of Iran, but of the Muslims, and guess what?  He had the hostages taken for the 441 days.  We were involved in all sorts of skull-drudgery in Iran over many decades, and it all boils down to the fact that they despise our meddling.

We meddled in, and supported, Saddam’s war against Iran, were responsible for an un-elected Shah to take power, and in many ways (this is brief to be sure), angered Iran over several decades.  We haven’t stopped yet!  Under Bush, we went to war against Iraq, and had Saddam, our guy from his war with Iran,  executed, and caused literally hundreds and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis to die.  It isn’t over yet in Iraq, and the bombs continue.  We then went into Afghanistan, again under George Bush, and no one can figure out why, or what the result could possibly be, other than to further enrage Muslims, endless deaths, and a bankrupt America.  We now have had the shoe bomber, the underwear bomber, and now the Times Square bomber, all three of which went awry.  Will the next one fizzle also?  We can only hope so, but the point is, we should become totally NEUTRAL, and do so immediately.  If we didn’t fight pointlessly in Muslim nations, there would be no terrorism worry.  Naturally, that won’t happen, because we’ve got to keep the Military-Industrial-Complex solvent, and must be at war to keep the paper dollar economy from crumbling almost overnight.  Muslims would never think of harming us, if we weren’t in their face all the time with our troops.  This is an unpopular opinion, because the neo-cons and most Republicans think wars are just wonderful.  I don’t, and neither do the Tea Partiers.  We’ve got to get them out of office in November, but in the mean time, for goodness sakes, protect yourself with gold and silver.
