Wikileaks

It’s Pearl Harbor Day.  Fly Your Flag!

Wikileaks is a catastrophe!  Wikileaks puts lives in danger!  Wikileaks is unbelievably horrible.  So says just about everyone…except me, that is.  I think it’s hilarious.  Why?  Because, first of all, none of it is ’classified,’ and even if it were, so what?  There’s far too much secrecy in government, politics, and even banking also.  When there’s a secret, whether its about war, peace, politics, or finance, there’s certain to be crimes or dastardly deeds which are being concealed or kept secret.  Politicians and envoys calling each other names?  Maybe they shouldn’t do it.  Bank of America’s innermost screwing of its customers about to be leaked?  Maybe Bank of America, or whoever, shouldn’t be dishonest in the first place.  Wikileaks is investigative journalism as it used to be.

Think about who benefits, protects, and looks out for itself.  Governments and corporations, that’s who.  The corner grocer, jeweler, bakery, or auto dealership, looks out for their customers, and strives to please them.  When they go broke or bankrupt, its usually because they tried so hard, that they couldn’t make it.  Government can’t go broke or bankrupt, because it can print all the money it needs, and to hell with the citizens, who see their dollars shrink in value every day.  Corporations care about the corporate stockholders, not the customers.  The CEO of a corporation, will close factories in America, and send the whole thing overseas or to Mexico, and to hell with the workers.  They have to keep the stock price high, so they can be a hero, and get a big bonus.  There are hundreds of corporations who no longer make things in America, because of cheap labor overseas, not to mention a lack of unions.

I have been a contributor to the restoration of steam locomotive 315, which sat in the weather for 58 years in a Durango Colorado park.  She was built in 1888, and is now totally restored.  The air pump was missing, so the restorers bought a new one from China, which was supposed to be an exact copy.  It gave endless troubles, and has recently been replaced by a rebuilt 95 year old Westinghouse one, and naturally it is doing just fine.  China has yet to be able to produce quality, but that doesn’t stop Corporate CEO’s from having inferior merchandise made in China, including poisonous sheet rock and baby formula, to mention but a couple.

The Federal government, with its hundreds of thousands of bureaucrats, TSA gropers, and others, who pester and hinder our lives and businesses, care only about themselves…not us.  The question begs itself.  Who cares for us?  Not corporations, nor government.  Individual businesses and businesspeople care for us, and as far as I am concerned, individually owned, non-national banks.  Managers of huge banks, with their myriad offices and branches, care not a whit about customers individually. Their managers want bonuses for profits made, not for goodwill created.

If Wikileaks blows a hole in crooked, corrupt governments, banks, and corporations, why not?  TV shows, reporters, web sites, or any other method of communication, which exposes dishonesty, corruption, and blatant disregard for individuals, should be applauded.  I think it’s hilarious that all the Pooh Bahs are being put on the spot for their undercover shenanigans.

Assange has been voluntarily arrested, so he can try to iron out his troubles in the UK.  He doesn’t want to go to Sweden to face trumped up sex charges, because he doesn’t trust the Swedish legal system.  If he ever is sent there, he is sure the U.S. will get Sweden to send him here, and he doesn’t want that.  Was the sex beauty paid to seduce him?

Meantime, the euro is in deep trouble, because of the bailouts of Ireland and Greece, with Portugal, Italy, and Spain sure to follow.  Europeans are selling their euros and buying dollars!  How dumb!  Why is the world so blindsided by governments, that they actually trust unbacked scrip?  Gold and silver have been real, glorious, actual money for thousands of years.  Too high?  They said that when gold got to $300.  And $400 was ’too high.’  $1,000 gold was supposed to be the absolute limit.  There is no limit as how ’high’ in unbacked scrip it can go, any more than there is a limit as to how high, in unbacked currencies, anything can go, because of Stott’s Law.  “The more of anything there is, the less they will be worth,” and that includes all currencies which are not backed by gold or silver, which is every single one.  Gold, silver, lettuce, oil, glass, tires, furniture, washing machines, or any tangible item, will go higher, due to inflation caused by all governments.  GET OUT OF PAPER MONEY!  I replaced all my appliances a year ago, because I knew they would go higher, due to inflation.  They have!  Replace your failing dollars with gold and silver.  If you don’t, your dollars and euros will continually buy less and less of everything, including gold and silver, not to mention food and fuel.
