There are many types of collapses. When I was a kid and fire buff, which I still am, I watched the Empire Building at 9th and New York Ave in Washington D.C. collapse, after a fire weakened it. Earthquakes collapse buildings constantly around the world. A stack of dominoes can collapse, as can a bank, stock, or currency. I want to deal with a civilization’s collapse, and for a totally different reason than you might surmise initially, It is the collapse of a nation, self destructing because of a welfare state.
No where in our Constitution, is there any permission given for government to subsidize anything. Our Founders disliked the idea of robbing Peter to pay Paul. The odds for Paul winning an election if he has been subsidized by thefts from Peter, are overwhelming. There will always be far more voting ’Pauls’ in the world, than victimized ’Peters.’ When politicians discovered that they could garner votes from the ’Pauls,’ after passing legislation which robbed ’Peters,’ the collapse of the civilization was sealed in granite.
Under the irresistible title or goal of ’helping the poor,’ the Constitution has been defeated, and the eventual demise of America or any other nation, is a foregone conclusion. Jesus said at John 12:8, “The poor you will always have with you,” but politicians are trying to defeat that, at the expense of the productive class of ’Peters.’ It may take a long time, but it will happen. It began in America, under Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR), and has escalated ever since. Guess who multiplies the most? Is it the welfare recipients, or the wealth producers? Obviously, around the world and in America, we have an ever increasing population count of the worthless, lazy, stupid, welfare recipient ’Pauls’, who will always vote to have Peter robbed, to their benefit. In the last election, there appeared a glimmer of hope, thanks to the Tea Party, but in Wisconsin, it appears as if those who voted for the sane, balance the budget, conservative, governor and legislature, are having their brains fouled by publicity, generated by unions. (The Republicans just pulled the rug out from under the unions…go Republicans in Wisconsin!). Ohio will undergo the same, as will Indiana, Idaho, and if California’s Governor Moonbeam does as he promised, (not likely!), California will be plagued by endless demonstrations.. Business serves customers and makes a profit. Government and bureaucracy serves itself, and we pay for its inherit inefficiency, bribery, and special interests, with exorbitant taxes and currency devaluation. The bribery of the welfare state cannot be ignored.
As I said in the previous column, during the age of the so called ’robber barons,’ America’s government was miniscule, freedom was everywhere, and rather than being owned lock stock and barrel by government, people educated their own kids, and took 100% of their wages home with them. There was no Social Security, Medicaid, or Medicare, all of which are so basically absurd, that an insurance actuary would commit suicide if he were told to endorse them. Those three are mere Ponzi schemes. The public education system is on its last legs, as had to happen, when something is parroted as being ’free,’ run by government, paid for by the ’Peters,’ and fouled by unions. When all the city streetcar systems were being built by private capital and investment, they made money and paid dividends. There was no ’Amtrak’ then. If parents decided not to educate and raise their kids correctly, they would fail and die early. Kids raised with parent sponsored education, stay at home Moms, and no taxes of any kind, nor government handouts, begat successful adults.
Our nation has been hopelessly polluted with the welfare state, and politicians who continuously vote for more, to have their re-election assured. Taxes will never stop going up, nor the dollar going down, because it is impossible to get rid of a welfare state so well ingrained into the lame brain voters, who have been reproducing their ilk for over 75 years so far. Like begets like, and those copulating trash, just ’keep on truck’ in,’ (Change the T to you know what), thereby sealing our doom. All you can do is protect yourself from the oncoming onslaught of violence, which will probably be confined to the big cities. Remember the riots and burning in L.A. when Rodney King’s cops were declared innocent by a jury? That was peanuts. Protect yourself with a small town, guns, gold, and silver.
