The Insanity Plea

The shooting of Ronnie Reagan by a young moron, got him an “insanity plea”, and he still lives at St Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington D.C., at a huge cost to the taxpayers.  There are literally thousands of criminals, who simply should not be alive today, except that courts found them ’insane’ and they couldn’t have known what they were doing when they pulled the trigger.  The first thing a murderer does when found out and jailed, is to figure out a way to appear insane, so they can live…at taxpayer expense.

Are some killers insane?  Maybe, but SO WHAT?  Who cares if they are nuts?  Does that change the gravity of the crime they have committed?  If a killer is screwy, does that make his victim alive again, and uninjured?  The victim is dead, but the killer lives?  Does that really make any sense at all?  Where in the Constitution do the Founders recognize a mental condition as an excuse to do anything?  Have you ever known a normal psychiatrist?  Maybe there are a few who get rich listening to others’ rantings, who could be considered of sound mind, but it seems to me that after a few years of that occupation, it might be contagious.  It doesn’t matter to this scribe.  Absolutely none.

We just need to go back to the days of the early American West, with cowboys, Indians, Rustlers, and hanging trees.  Crimes were punished quickly and decidedly, and at low to no cost to taxpayers.  Were innocents hung?  I’m sure, but innocents are killed every day by the thousands around the world.  Just stay clear of any place where you may get involved, is the way to avoid enmeshing yourself in a quirky situation.

The insanity plea is thanks to the same outfits that hate capital punishment.  Just liberal do-gooders, worthless panty-waists, and usually bearded tree-huggers.  We all recognize them in their foreign cars, with bumper strips urging the saving of something, and with a Obama one still visible.  Why are there such vast differences in people?  Ever wonder about that?  I think it is the influence of parents, friends, college professors, and mates.  Liberal political views do not coincide with wealth.  The richest Hollywood stars are always against capital punishment and for letting the nut cases spend their lives in funny farms.  For some strange reason, Jewish people are always super liberal, with a few marvelous exceptions as well, and it is a mystery to me. Joe Six-packs and those who earn their money and never inherited it, seem to be the conservative Tea Party Group, and I am very pleased to be one of them.  I’ve never inherited a dime, and had to pay $1700 to bury my Mom, bless her soul.

Don’t mean to carry on like this, but I might as well get it off my mind.  I cannot, for the life of me, understand why a real or fanciful looney bin murderer or rapist should live, because his lawyer has cooked up an insanity plea.  Shakespeare once said to the effect of, “First thing we do is shoot all the lawyers.”  Why not shoot all the murderers and rapists?  Why not enforce laws, rather than letting criminals loose after brief sentences?  Why shouldn’t a death penalty be carried out instantly?  Do we really need several layers of justice?  Why are criminals called “suspects,” when there were several eye witnesses or he got caught in the act?  There’s so much wrong in America.  How can we correct the multiple wrongs dished out by the lawyer influenced criminal court systems?  I have no idea, but you’d better be protecting yourself with guns, gold, and silver, because rough times are ahead, I am afraid.

P.S. the gold-silver ratio is down to 37 to 1.  A couple of years ago, the ratio was 77 to 1, and I kept preaching to everyone that silver was a far better buy than gold because of the ratio.  Silver has gone up 52% more than gold in the last two years, as I predicted.  This will continue till the ratio reaches 16 to 1, I believe, and since prices of metals are so high in depreciating dollars, the ratio may go below 16 to 1, since silver has always been referred to as the “poor man’s gold.”  Silver seems far more palatable at $38.50 per ounce than gold at over $1400 per ounce.
