Celebration? Yes! Let’s all celebrate, because now, one out of seven Americans receive food stamps! According to the ding bat ’economists’ in that home of ding bats, Washington D.C., they say that food stamps gives people money to spend, and thereby helps the economy. According to them, welfare has the same effect on the economy!
Just think of how simply marvelous that is. The more money printed and issued to non-workers, the better the economy will be! Whoopee! We’ve reached Nirvana, and all it takes are printing presses. Now, isn’t that just ever so ducky?
Imagine how we can cure all our ills, according to the D.C. ’economists.’ We’ll just enlarge the food stamp rolls, welfare rolls, and everything now subsidized, will be doubled. We’ll build more public housing units, double Social Security payments, or maybe even triple them, because the more money injected into the economy, the better off the economy will be, because all of that money will be spent, and there’s nary a consequence. Hot Damn! Why didn’t I think of that before? I’ve been preaching about economy, protecting one’s self, and balanced budgets; and the real solution all along, has been just the opposite. I apologize for my ignorance of economics! It all works out so beautifully. Tax the workers, and give the money to those who don’t work. Suppose the workers refuse to work or pay?
The American spirit of work, saving, inventing, manufacturing, exporting, marrying, church going, law abiding, and morality, has been invaded and destroyed by liberal politicians, liberal professors, liberal theologians, and liberal Presidents. And that’s not all. What effect do movies and video games which are full of ’special effects,’ showing cars flying, dead people coming to life, endless wars, violence, law breaking, free sex, and all in glorious full color, have on children’s minds? Are they growing up, actually believing that such stunts and violence are true? Since less than 60% of conceptions are with married couples, how will those children turn out from single parent households? Do the black “flash mobs” picking out white people and stores to victimize, as in London, Wisconsin, Philadelphia, and others, indicate that they have no concept of honesty, law, and common decency? Were they raised in public housing? Were they products of the welfare state, where it isn’t necessary to work for a living, or have a father, but merely to receive a check from the government? Are they helping the economy? Is keeping the cops busy and innocents repairing damage to property and body, helping the economy by keeping docs, hospitals, jails, courts, and carpenters busy? Only a fool would believe that.
I am sick of watching the news and Drudge Report of all the black criminals, and even a few whites occasionally. Have the ’civil rights’ laws, actually helped blacks, or given them a free pass to laziness and uselessness? Have all the laws, regulations, bureaucracies, bureaucrats, and yes printing presses turning out trillions of dollars, made America whole, or a disaster? Have food stamps, public housing, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security. and endless subsidies, made America better or worse? Has relieving people of the necessity of caring for themselves and preparing for their futures, made America great?
Now, fuzz-brain ’economists’ tell us that the more welfare we have, the better the economy will be, because it injects money into the economy. Have we reached the point of no-return to the America the Founders pictured, and which was present, until we got into two World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Obama’s Libya, The Federal Reserve, income tax, and endless welfare? Or should we simply protect ourselves and get out of the big cities, where the ultimate destruction of a once great nation will surely begin?
P.S. Obama’s Libya, isn’t turning out as was expected, is it? Believe me, there’ll be boots on the ground, and hundreds of billions spent. Libya is full of tribes and cliques. To think for a minute, that illiterate, disorganized, trash rebels, can overturn a 42 year dictatorship and run a nation is absurd. Even if or when they come into power, chaos will result, just like is obvious in Egypt.
