Capital Punishment

This is about dumb government, but I’ll relieve your boredom by not calling it that!  Capital punishment, has been practically eliminated around the world and in some of the United States also.  I have a great problem with not electrocuting or injecting with a fatal does, a person convicted of murder or even rape.  The weepy do-gooders will say that some lives have been saved and dead people have been exonerated with modern DNA blood testing, but I say, so what?  Tens of thousands die every year in traffic accidents, and thousands were not their fault.  People get killed with sharks while swimming, falling down in bathtubs even, not to mention electrocutions from household appliances of lightening strikes.  We all have to die eventually, and if a dozen die prematurely, I am sorry, but that’s life.

Others will say that appeals cost so much that a murderer can be on death row for decades, and his appeals cost a fortune.  I say that’s NOT the way a justice system should operate.  If a person is found guilty by his peers in a jury trial, that’s as far as it should go.  PERIOD.  As an example, in a robbery case, one of the robbers may say, “I didn’t do it, I was only driving the getaway car,” or other excuse, and I say SO WHAT?  He was at the crime scene, wasn’t he?  Who cares whether he was driving or killing; whole gang should be put to death.

Prison time costs the same as a Harvard tuition, and if the whole thing stopped at a jury trial, prison time would be very brief.  Judicial reform would make capital crimes stop at the hands of a jury, and not linger on and on ad infinitum, ad nauseum, ad continuem.  America had been bogged down for many decades by the law profession, which extracts billions of dollars for fake claims and promises.  Shakespeare was in all probability correct when said, “First, let’s kill all the lawyers,” although I admit, that quote is taken out of context, and we certainly do need  honest lawyers.

I think that there are literally millions of convicts who should be put out of our misery now.  Perpetual thieves, rapists, robbers, and murderers who are in federal prisons or penitentiaries, have no excuse for taxpayers keeping them alive, fed, and healthy.  Get rid of all of them.  Is that cruel or inhuman?  Maybe, but that’s my opinion anyway.  Even the Bible condones and even commands capital punishment.  Check out Exodus 21, verse 12, in a modern translation:  “One who strikes a man so that he actually dies is to be put to death without fail.”  Or verse 14-17 in the King James version: “But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbor, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine alter, that he may die. And he that smiteth his father or his mother, shall surely be put to death.  And he that stealeth a man (kidnapping), and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.  And he that curseth his father of his mother, shall surely be put to death.”

Far too many, if not all who are given “life without parole,” in place of the death sentence, become ’eligible for parole,’ and simply return to crime after their release.  The classic case is lifer Kenneth McDuff, who became ’eligible for parole,’ was released, and then murdered an additional dozen innocents.  That scenario has been repeated hundreds of times.  Those who say that capital punishment is not a deterrent are wrong.

In 1882, the last of the famous Thugee were killed by the Brits.  One of them bragged that he had killed over 900 innocents.  Extermination was the only solution to that problem!  As I have said over and over again, there are now millions alive, who should be dead.  I’d like to hear some of the Republican candidates give their opinions on Capital punishment in the next debates

The Greeks are going to have a referendum to vote on whether they want to proceed with the strict reforms proposed by the world.  You can bet that they will vote “no” and the Italians might also, given the chance, since their debt is 120% of GDP.  That may spell the end of the euro and a domino effect may take much of the world’s economy with it.  Stock futures are down heavily as I finish this, and have taken metals down with them.  You can be that paper promises will not endure, while real, tangible, historic money in the form of gold and silver will endure till the end of time.  Gold and silver have been real money even before Biblical times in ancient Egypt and China, and you can believe they will be real money in the future.

P.S.  The so-called 2.5% increase in the GDP in America is as fake as a three dollar bill.  The GDP INCLUDES government spending, which I am certain accounts for the 2.5% increase.
