As far as not needing 95% of the federal government, or wanting it for that matter, I have a few additions. IMF, World Bank, and United Nations?
The United Nations has never solved anything as far as I can see. It just sits there in New York, looking like an overgrown tombstone, gobbling up billions of dollars, and driving New York nuts with all the delegates parking where they want, violating every known New York law, and getting away with it. Every patch of African sand populated with cannibals gets one vote, America gets one vote, and Russia gets two? Gee Dad, how did that happen? Get it out, resign our membership, and save billions. We don’t need it!
The IMF and World bank are two outfits that suck up money by the billions and ’loan’ it to ’developing nations,’ except the loans are never repaid, and the money usually goes to corrupt leaders who store it in Switzerland. These nations are not ’developing,’ but are enslaved by their corrupt governments, and they’ll probably never have guts or guns enough to overthrow them. The best way to influence people is by example, not bribes. Get out of the IMF and World Bank, as they are a colossal waste.
National Parks could well run by foundations, and there are lots of them who would do it. National Forests and all other federal lands are terribly run, and are a disgrace. Bureau of Land Management, National Forest Service, Fish and Wildlife Service? Why can’t the states do it even better? They could. The federal government has no title or deed for all these ’federal lands’ anyway. 99% of federal lands belong to the states. Let’s see your right to own billions of acres, you D.C. big shots. The entire D.C. thing, bureaucracy, taxes, and thousands of outrages, needs to be stopped dead, and now.
The most outrageous thing is that federal laws overpower state laws, or so it seems, and I have read and re-read Article Three over and over again, and I can’t see how, when a state passes a law, if a federal law disagrees with it, the fed has supremacy. You read Article Three and see for yourself. This means that Arizona or Alabama can’t control their own borders, when the feds won’t? Article Three doesn’t read that way. That’s all the better reason to abolish most of D.C., because they have violated the Constitution over and over again. The Constitution has seven articles and 27 Amendments, and the D.C. Gang has violated the intent and written word of these documents thousands of times!
Obama is issuing an “executive order” about something, I hear, and executive orders are not in the Constitution. Republicans just adore Abraham Lincoln, and have “Lincoln Day” dinners, where they virtually worship that man, who I despise. After all, he started the War Between The States, which killed 620,000 Americans, and without Constitutional approval. Lincoln violated the Constitution over and over again, but Republicans adore him. Lincoln and Alexander Hamilton, and lots between, just think Washington is the most wonderful aggregation possible, even though it screws up everything it touches, and levies taxes on us to pay for their idiocy.
America is in debt up to its ears and has no possible way to ever repay it other than with printing press scrip, and the debts keep climbing. The Congress loves to pass laws, and even brags about how many they introduced or voted for. Congress should spend its time abolishing laws and bureaucracies, not forming new ones. Obama has decided that a couple dozen ’Czars” are appropriate, and no one has said “NO” to him.
Now, we’re going to get Mitt Romney, and I hope he wins, but it’ll be the same old, tired, usual stuff with more laws more taxes, and more bureaucracy. Women, it is said, like Obama and will vote for him. Why? Why would any woman like a President who has no Constitutional right to be one, has run the debt to the sky, is a closet Muslim, and seems to want to turn America into a Marxist state? A President which absolutely nothing is known about him, his college degrees, writings, history, birth certificate, or for that matter, why he lost his lawyer’s license? Is this a reason for women to like him and vote for him? Same with Hispanics and Blacks. Why?
The idea that Washington D.C. has become a bribe ridden, corrupt, monstrosity, and is not only taxing us to death, running the debt to the stratosphere, and trampling us into unwarranted submission, doesn’t seem to have crossed candidates’ minds. Even Ron Paul has never actually come out and said that 95% of the federal government and all its appendages, is not only unnecessary, hugely expensive, and even un-Constitutional. Americans, as a matter of course, watch the news and contemplate each new law, war, and D.C. disgrace, without realizing that 95% of it is a sham, and needs to be gotten rid of if we are to survive. The Founders, when they added the Tenth Amendment, knew what they were doing.
