The Foundations – part two

This is part two of a column I wrote October 17, 1998.

“So here we have seen hundreds of billions poured out on the unfortunate, needy, lazy, foreign, stupid, or those victimized by their governments.  Remember, America was victimized by its government 225 years ago, and no one poured money into our laps when “The shot heard ’round the world,” was fired by outraged victims of “Mother England.”  Our history is rife with examples of those born poor or abused, and who struggled, climbed life’s ladder, and made the best of it.  The “poor little rich boys,” generally were spoilt, lazy, and although rich, were basically worthless and undeserving.

“When these excruciatingly wealthy descendents of the Fords, Rockefellers, Carnegies, and Vanderbilts, operate their trusts and philanthropies, the undeniable guilt of having inherited enormous riches, without having to lift a finger, surely must cause them to hire those who would act in concert with their misplaced benevolence.  Thy give to those with whom they can not identify, to those whom they feel sorry for, and ’the needy,’ not the deserving.  The rich, and their foundation managers, give money they themselves are undeserving of, and money they have not earned.  In reality, they have done incredible harm to the entire world.  While Carnegie passed out 6,000 pipe organs to churches, built countless libraries, and built Carnegie Hall in New York, while he was alive, the managers of his foundation, after he died, have decided we must all be made into “One World.”  The Ford Foundation, supports just about every left wing, anti-American cause known to man, and the Rockefeller isn’t far behind.  While Joe Six-pack and Marge housewife work, pay their bills, go to church, send their kids to Little League, and wash their own cars, the Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, and dozens of other foundations, throw money at “the needy,” not “the deserving.”

“How is feeding the worthless, helping the world?  Every dime most foundations spend, is basically supporting those who should be allowed to fail or die.  Increasing their life span or feeding them, merely causes copulation and an increase of their numbers, who will feed at the handout trough, and be wealth, food, and goods consumers, rather than producers of such.  It has been proven over the last thousand years or so, that it is impossible to force different races or nationalities to like each other.  Billions of foundation dollars go forth each year in this futile effort, which merely exacerbates the situation.  Billions of foundation dollars go forth each year to the coffers of government, either directly or indirectly, encouraging more bureaucracy and regulation, in abortive efforts to make people read, bathe, eat correctly, or other inane ideas.  Only man’s own brain can direct him to act, not government handouts and influence.  When undeserved freebies rain down on the needy, the natural reaction is to stop working, cease putting forth effort, and act in the opposite way the benefactor intended.  For close to a hundred years, this persiflage has been going on from foundations ands government alike, with the dreadful results easily seen.  Ruined cities, illiterate kids ’graduating’ from public schools, filthy air, undeclared wars, fiat money, inflation, and mighty efforts at a “One World” system, are the results.  Had government not acted unconstitutionally, and foundations not hired and been overseen by those with a mistaken sense of values, the world might be a far better place than it is now.

“I greatly admire the Rockefellers, Fords, Vanderbilts, and Carnegies, who began and built their dynasties.  I don’t resent their huge homes, servants, yachts, private railroad cars, and trips around the world.  I applaud them.  I only wish these men had seen to it that their fortunes were not used to debilitate the world.  These wonderful fortunes have been used in a diametrically opposite direction of the way their founders used their money and gave.  The founders of these fortunes, built railroads, explored, invented, donated to the deserving, and made our lives ever so much better, with telephones, transportation, education, light bulbs, educators, universities, and hundreds of other businesses and corporations that are with us this day.  Their heirs have poured billions of dollars from their inheritances and the foundations they control, into the most destructive of places.  The world probably has many millions of worthless, unproductive, begging, reproducing, starving, land raping, wild animal killing, rain forest burning, people in it, thanks to foundation money being sent to do the wrong things in the wrong places.  How sad that profits from noble works and enterprises have gone so wrong.

” The various super rich foundations, make it an art to spend money in ways that weakens humanity.  It is done by showering unearned riches, food, homes, and other beneficence on the undeserving.  The managers of these foundations give, to make the poor less poor, the needy, less needy, or the hungry, less hungry, and think they are saving the world.  In reality, they are harming the world greatly.  The humans, whose lives they are lengthening or saving, are not only reproducing more of their kind, but are destroying the physical earth, by burning, killing, de-foresting, and causing its very essence to wash away.  The erosion of top soil loss caused by those who are alive because of foundation outpourings, are in the millions.  It is theoretically possible to vote out politicians, who wrongfully act and spend government money to support the useless, but I know of no way to control a philanthropy or foundation, who commits similar evils.

So much for that column written close to 34 years ago.  Compare the harm foundations are doing, with what government is doing.  It is the same!  Government handouts, do exactly the same thing to the same classes of people; namely the ’needy,’ rather than the deserving.  Maybe a column should be written about this also.
