It’s a pretty simple title, isn’t it? “Article One” of course, is the first Article in our Constitution. That Article is also very simple in its wording. The Entire Article One, Section One, reads in full, “All Legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”
By ultra simple, non-controversial, impossible to twist or haggle over, reading the words’ literal meaning… all legislative powers have to originate with voted upon, and signed by the President, to become law. No question is possible about that simple statement of authorization. This then, does not allow for bureaucracy to make laws and rules, or to even exist, without Congressional approval. All the crap issued from the EPA, and myriad other bureaucracies are UNCONSITUTIONAL, and by violating the very first sentence of the Constitution, America is in its current bankrupt, huge government, huge welfare, foreign wars, and in its twilight. My God people, it’s all so simple.
Section Seven of Article One says, “Every bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it becomes law, be presented to the President of the United States. If he approve, he shall sign it, but if not, he shall return it, with his objections to that House in which it shall have originated….”
Part of Section Nine of Article One reads. “No money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of appropriations made by law…” Did Congress approve and appropriate Obama’s endless handing out of dollars to anyone and everyone who he thinks deserves it, or for that matter, any President’s giving away American dollars, without Congressional approval?
Article Two, is about the Presidency, and I have searched that Article endlessly, and can find no permission or an “Executive Order.” If there were such a provision, it obviously would contradict Article One. It doesn’t exist in the Constitution, and Obama is not the first President to use it. He has used it so many times, and in such ways as to arouse the anger of Republicans, some of whom think they can impeach him. That is silly, in spite of Sarah Palin’s suggestion. Obama is a disaster, but there are not enough votes in the Senate to ever impeach him, so forget it. All Executive Orders should be stopped, simply because the Constitution doesn’t giver permission for such orders.
The IRS was never passed by the State of Kentucky, so is actually unconstitutional, even though I understand the Supremes long ago decided that it is. The Constitution, in Article One, Section Eight says that all taxes levied shall be “Uniform throughout the United States,” but they aren’t. What can we do? I don’t know.
If you’re on a ship which is slowly sinking in the middle of the ocean, and you know that, even with life preservers and life boats, the chances of your survival are remote, you’ll hang on as long as possible, and do everything in your power to stay alive. Look at America, as if it were a sinking ship, which it is. What can you do? You can protect your assets by getting them out of failing dollars, because commons sense will tell you that they will keep on failing. You’ll get your assets into historic money for thousands of years, which is silver or gold, preferably from Colorado Gold, because we’re scrupulously honest, and will never call anyone. When someone calls you, beware! Secondly, you will contribute to good candidates and the Tea Party, which actually is responsible for the Republican House of Representatives, and can, with your support, take the Senate in November. You will, of course, vote correctly. Wednesday evening, my wife and I went to see “America” in a local theatre. It’s excellent.
America, under Woodrow Wilson, got us into World War One foolishly, which caused the rise of Hitler. FDR started the welfare system, which has mushroomed, till like cancer, has metastasized throughout the entire nation, and created the Lower Class, as is explained in the book (The Unheavenly City), I urged you to get in the previous column, and I still urge you to get one. The welfare state, IRS, executive orders, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc, ad infinitum, ad nauseum, are all unconstitutional, but we’re stuck with them, like the sinking ship. We just have to protect ourselves, and support Tea Party candidates. Nuf said? (You might forward this to your friends too, since far too many people are ignorant of the facts).
