The conditions in America and the world makes me want to again write two a week, rather than just one, but my columns aren’t changing anything anyway, so what’s the difference? The following was written by Paul Craig Roberts on September 10th, and it has only gotten worse even in the last few days since he wrote it. Yes, I have original thought and can write without printing someone else’s stuff, but sometimes others have great ideas and observations!
“The tragedy of September 11, 2001, goes far beyond the deaths of those who died in the towers, the deaths of firefighters and first responders who succumbed to illnesses caused by inhalation of toxic dust. For thirteen years, a new generation of Americans have been born into the 9/11 myth that has been used to create the American warfare/police state. The corrupt Bush regime used 9/11 to kill, maim, dispossess and displace millions of Muslims in seven countries, none of whom had anything whatsoever to do with 9/11. A generation of Americans have been born into a police state, in which privacy and Constitutional protections no longer exist. They have been born into continuous warfare, a society in which truth is replaced with the endless repetition of falsehoods.
“On 9/11, no aspect of the National Security State worked. Everything failed. For the first time in its history, the U.S. Air Force could not get intercepter jets into the air. The National Security State of the world’s only superpower, was defeated by a few young Saudi Arabians, armed only with box cutters. The American National Security State, proved to be totally helpless, and was dealt the greatest humiliation ever inflicted on any country claiming to be a power. The National Security Council failed. All 16 U.S. Intelligence agencies failed, as did those of America’s NATO and Israeli allies. Air Traffic Control failed. Airport security failed four times, at the same moment, on the same day, which probability is zero.
“If such a thing had actually happened, there would have been demands from the White House, from Congress, and from the media, for an investigation. Heads would have rolled. Instead, the White House resisted for one year, the 9/11 families’ demands for an investigation. Finally, a collection of politicians was assembled to listen to the government’s account. The worst security failure in history, resulted in not a single firing, and no one was held responsible. Washington concluded that 9/11 was possible because America lacked a police state. The PATRIOT ACT, which was awaiting such an event, was quickly passed by the congressional idiots. The Act established executive branch independence of law and the Constitution. The Act and follow up measures, have institutionalized a police state in “The Land of the Free.”
“Osama Bin Laden was blamed, in spite of his explicit denial. For the next ten years, Osama Bin Laden was the bogyman that provided the excuse for Washington to kill countless numbers of Muslims, and invade two Muslim Nations. Then, suddenly, on May 2, 2011, Obama claimed that US Navy SEALS had killed Osama Bin Laden. The SEAL team died a few weeks later, in a mysterious helicopter crash in Afghanistan. The thousands of sailors on the aircraft carrier from which bin Laden was said to have been dumped into the Indian Ocean, wrote home that no such burial took place..”
How well said! Anyone with half a brain, knows that the entire 9/11 affair was a total fraud. It was so perfectly planned and executed, that it all went off like a Swiss watch. Silverstein collected hundreds of millions in insurance, in Pennsylvania, where a plane was supposedly crashed, there was no plane, and nothing but a hole. At the Pentagon, no plane could possibly executed than maneuver, and no plane was there either. In New York, two buildings crashed, for no evident reason, since both were superbly constructed to withstand a plane crashing into them. A third mysteriously crashed also, and no plane had crashed into it. We’ve been fooled into believing that JFK was killed by a little pipsqueak with a cheap Italian rifle, shot from a sixth floor of a building, when that was impossible. We’ve been fooled into believing that a federal building in Oklahoma was demolished by a truck with some fertilizer in it, which was impossible, and that the guy who did it, was driving a car afterwards, with no license plate. We’ve also been conned for decades, into believing that the US dollar has value, and now is so strong, that metals prices have gone down. The dollar is strong, but only in comparison to the ruble, euro, yen, etc. The US dollar, is backed by “The full faith and credit of the U.S. government,” and that faith and credit is born out by the previous examples of lies, plus ’legal tender laws,’ which means we must use the faithless dollar to buy and sell things. Will metals go up? Will every tangible thing ’go up’ in dollars, since they are being printed with wild abandon? Is the Pope a Catholic? Can gravity be defeated? Do gold and silver come from mines, or are they a chemical concoction? Is Ford a brand of car? Is the voltage in your outlet 110? Does natural gas explode if concentrated? Do cows give milk? ALL TANGIBLES WILL GO UP AS THE BUCK AND OTHER CURRENCIES GO DOWN, which they will have to do, because no nations have balanced their budgets, and all print currencies to pay the bills politicians run up.
P.S. Not that America’s favorite sport is flooding TV stations, I wonder, as I have always wondered: Why do Americans love football? It is the only game which has to be played in full body armor, carrying wounded players off the field in a gurney is common, and for all practical purposes, the only player with any brains, is the quarterback. The rest are beefy slobs, whose only desire seems to be to kill their opponent. Brain injuries, and lifetime disabilities are common, even among high school footballs players. Football stars are commonly accused of murder, child abuse, rape, robbery, drunken driving, and assorted other mayhem, which none of us would consider performing, in our wildest fantasies. Yet the bozos make millions. Other sports, such as baseball, basketball, soccer, and tennis, require the utmost skill to win at, and its stars rarely, if ever, end up in court of jail. Why does America love that basest of all sports? Is it because, like NASCAR, maybe they all are waiting for a crash or serious injury? Sick, sick, sick.
