The problem with 95% of Republicans, is that they go along with the democrat socialists in everything, but seem to do it a bit less. The result is what we have now; namely a huge population of welfare recipients, $18 trillion current debt, and $200 trillion long term debt which government has committed to, such as Medicare, social security, etc. Republican presidents have authored various confiscatory bureaucracies, most of which were not voted on by Congress, which makes them unconstitutional. We’re being overrun with rules which have the effect of laws, in violation of Article One, Section One of our Constitution. From the Founders to today, we have gone from freedom to slavery. It because ever so much worse when Abe Lincoln was elected and began the War of Northern Aggression. He wanted a large central government, as did Alexander Hamilton. Fortunately Hamilton was killed by Aaron Burr. Jackson vetoed the first Federal Reserve, which saved us for a while. For those of you who have my book "I hold These Truths, check out chapter 20, titled "A few cents each." Republicans have gone along with democrat-socialists in everything… but less. Even Ronnie Reagan, who we all love, quadrupled the national debt.
It looked a bit better when the Tea Party came into existence, but that seems to have faded also now. It just keeps getting more and more impossible to ever escape the tentacles of the Washington Elite, who have no concept of how the rest of us live. Just imagine if a terrorist somehow took D.C. off the map. We’d then have 50 individual state governments, and no federal bureaucracy, IRS, Federal Reserve, Congress, President, EPA, or any alphabet agencies who strangle productive America on a continual, expensive basis. Just imagine states competing with each other to see who would have the fewest laws, best weather, lowest taxes, and be the friendliest towards business, manufacturing, and living. When there is variety, there is always the best selection, lowest prices, and largest variety in anything, including government. When there is a concentrated federal government with no competition, it is a total violation of the Constitutional and Founders intent!
Suppose Congress passed a law which said that all refrigerators must be made by the federal government. We’d then have, with no competition, refrigerators which worked poorly, didn’t get very cold, used lots of electricity, and broke down frequently. Competitive refrigerator manufacturing, gives us what we now have, with ice cubes in the door, lots of cold, drawers, sections, low power consumption, sealed refrigeration units, and life expectancy of decades. With competition in everything but government, we have the highest standard of living in the world, with the lowest prices, most patents, most wonderful history of inventions, manufacturing, prosperity, secure borders, one language, and happiness. It is fading fast as government grows and literally eats us alive! I don’t think he has a chance, and you can’t send him any money, but Donald Trump seems to have it if his opening speech says anything about him! He has money, is a businessman, successful, rich, smart, hates government and illegals. What more could one ask for? I’ll bet his percentages climb in the next few months. It’s either someone like him, or as a new book says, "Adios America." (I just ordered one).
