Have you noticed that hoards of refugees from Syria, Afghanistan, et al, who are risking their lives to get to European nations which have liberal welfare systems? I know, they're miserable where they were, and thousands have died making the trek, but still, they seem to all have certain goals as they seek refuge. They bypass Greece and Italy, as their welfare systems are not appealing. No, they want to go to Sweden, Germany, and the U.K. where they can live without working! Sound familiar? America has an estimated 12 million 'refugees' who have migrated here from Mexico, and other central American nations. Why the U.S.? Because they can live here, not speak the language, and get free medical care, schooling, food, and all sorts of wonderful things a U.S. citizen can't readily get!
People will ALWAYS take a chance and try to improve their living standards without having to work or have any talent. Would be legal immigrants have talent or the work ethic, which makes them desirable to us. Consider the millions of undesirables who have braved the Mediterranean to get to Greece or Italy. By passing Greece and Italy, they go or try to go to the places where, foolishly, Germany, Sweden, and the UK allow them to live on taxpayer money or devaluing printing press currency, which is a tax on everyone. Do I hate the refugees? No, but I must insist that Trump is correct. Get rid of them, and don't allow them in. Build a wall here, and as far as Greece and Italy are concerned, stop accepting them. Cruel? Inhuman? I am sure that both terms apply, but self preservation is paramount to me, and preserving America, to me is of first importance, and 12 million illegals are not preserving America. How about emptying all the jails holding thousands of illegals, and immediately sending them all back to Mexico or wherever they originated? How about building a huge wall, and stop them from coming into our land?
For years, I have been saying that on the Mexican side, hundreds of huge signs and loudspeakers should say that we don't want them, and anyone crossing the border will be shot. Not inhumane at all. Any more than if someone is so stupid as to put their finger into a live light socket and be electrocuted, it was their fault, and they were probably too stupid to live anyway. Would some take a chance? Sure, but like the Mediterranean takes lives, our border may take lives also. See the undeniable comparison? People who flee their native lands have my sympathy, but even though they are trying to escape misery, they are bringing misery to the places they go. Sweden is getting very weary of them and is passing laws to stop them. Germany will too, I am certain.
If an illegal has been here for decades, has a job, family, and speaks our language, they certainly should stay here, but the newbies who speak not a word of English, have no talent, eat and live off of welfare, and commit lots of crime besides (read the statistics), get rid of them. Empty the jails of illegals and send them back. Build a wall, and promise that anyone crossing will be shot, and that solves the illegals problem. Naturally, in my opinion also, welfare should be abolished, but not as it sounds, and here is something candidates should use: LEAVE WELFARE AS IT NOW IS, BUT ALLOW NO NEW ENTRIES. Welfare will gradually expire as people die or are expelled. No one currently depending on it will suffer, and those wanting to get on will be denied. Too simple for simple minded politicians I am sure.
