What America Wants

The America I love, wants several basic things.  They're simple, and America has wanted them for many decades, both under Republican and Democrat rules and Congressional majorities.  They're things so basic and understandable, that it would be difficult for anyone to disagree with these wants and desires.

First, like every single household, America wants to have its budget balanced.  We're tired of having prices go up year after year, with the possible exception of oil, which low prices are simply a classic example of oversupply.  We Americans are tired of a $19 trillion budget deficit, and a long term, but committed budget deficit of close to $200 trillion.  That debt can only be paid with Monopoly money, which would be the bankruptcy of America as well as its citizens, a-la, Germany after WW I, when it took a wheelbarrow of money to buy a loaf of bread.  Think it can't get that bad?  It already has!  As a kid, gasoline was 19 cents a gallon and a Hershey bar a nickel.

Second, we're tired of endless bureaucracy.  We want to be left to do as we please, as long as it harms no one else.  We want to innovate, build, borrow, prosper, and be free of government.  We don't mind a few rules and regulations, such as speed limits and even building codes, but when a mud puddle comes under the jurisdiction of the EPA, that's all we can stand, and especially since the EPA was formed without even a vote of  Congress.  We want an end to the Dept of Education, EPA, Dept of Transportation, and a host of other nonsensical bureaucracies, which at will, enlarge themselves, at huge costs to everyone.

Third, we want no more foreign wars.  Apologize to Iraq and Afghanistan, take the troops out, and let them protect themselves.  We're sorry about Libya.  We know Gadaffi had it under control and was even a friend of the US.  It's now a no-mans-land thanks to us, and we're sorry.  Russia gave up on Afghanistan, left, and we thought we could do better.  Fat Chance.  Saddam had Iraq under rigid control also, and now a few hundred Shiites get killed each week by Sunnis, and we're to blame for that as well as ISIS.  Iraq has been destroyed, thanks to us.  Sorry!  The French gave up on Vietnam in the 1950's and we thought we could do better.  We couldn't and lost.  Sorry, but we want no more of this. nonsense overseas.

Fourth, we want to cease all importation of Muslims, as Trump has suggested.  The Muslim religion is the only one in the entire world which promises paradise for the killing of non-believers.  Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, and not even atheists believe in murdering non believers.  What holy book, other than the Koran, advocates murdering non believers?  The Muslim religion is not, as they claim, a 'religion of peace,' but rather a religion of murder and violence of the most unutterable kind.  Prohibition of groups and religions has happened in America before, and we want it again, no matter where they originated.  America is sick of Muslim violence, aircraft downing, car bombings, murders, beheadings, and ISIS.  Keep them out!

Fifth, America is being taxed to death at every level.  The U.S. corporate tax is the highest in the world, causing businesses and corporations to leave America for other nations, at a high cost of American jobs.  A person making a hundred thousand a year, pays 95% of taxes collected, it is said  We want government size cut by maybe 50% and make Washington D.C. a semi-ghost town with ex government employees begging for handouts.

Sixth and on to virtual endless requests, we want America to be once again the world's leader and to be known as a free people, not the enslaved ones we currently are now.  It's difficult to do anything without coming into conflict with a federal rule or regulation, none of which were passed by a vote of the Congress, as our Constitution requires.  We want every rule and regulation to be passed by a vote of the Congress and signed into law by the President.  We want a balanced budget, solvent dollars, no inflation, no deficits, and a gradual elimination of all welfare, a beginning of which would be to prohibit any new entries.  Think about that.  If no new applicants were allowed for food stamps, section 8 housing, public housing, and welfare of all types, people would have to work, starve or die, and that's fine…at least with me.  Before FDR, America had no welfare of any kind, we  were a prosperous free nation…till he got us into WW II, which was the last war we won.  Go Trump!  Books are down to 50 and will not be reprinted.
