Why?

The "in" crowd of Republicans, have disavowed Donald Trump, and claim they won't vote for him.  This is the so-called "establishment" Republicans, who I hear pull the strings, and like marionettes, other Republicans are supposed to obey and vote correctly.  These Republicans in their endless campaigns, always promise the government will get smaller, the budget will be balanced, the debt will shrink, endless rules and regulations will decrease, taxes will be lowered, and everyone will be hotsy-totsy happy, and brimming over with good cheer, and ever increasing popularity.  We've all heard this over and over again, and guess what?  The budget is never balanced, the debt grows larger, bureaucracy becomes more intolerable and larger by the day.  Endless wars such as Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, and Iraq were engaged with Republican votes, and waged at huge costs of dollars and American lives.  I've asked many many vets of these wars, if they ever knew why they were there, and the 100% response was "No."  Ronnie Reagan was a marvelous president, but he quadrupled the national debt, but he did lower taxes and bring prosperity to America.  Bush 41 said "No New Taxes." raised them, and lost the next election.  Bush 43 got us into Afghanistan and Iraq, for no known reason, at a huge cost, and these affairs might last another twenty years.

Donald Trump has promised to do everything Republicans say they want and campaigned about over and over again.  He is going to cut the 35% corporate taxes, which are the highest in the world and are responsible for corporations leaving America for Ireland, and other low tax nations.  He says he will build a wall, and re-negotiate NAFTA, which is a disaster.  He says he will get ISIS without ground troops, and will stop all immigration unless the immigrants are vetted thoroughly.  In short, every single thing the 'establishment' Republican candidates have campaigned about and promised over the years, have never come true, and the same old crap goes on year after year, in that cesspool of crookedness, Washington D.C.  When a candidate is elected to either the House or Senate, it seems as soon as he or she crosses the beltway, their mind goes awry, and they become a member of the 'establishment,' and get nothing done that they promised.  In "I Hold These Truths," I called the Republicans the "LOTS" Party, meaning 'less of the same,' of the crud that Democrats have been pursuing for many decades., and the Republicans have done the same, only maybe 'less'.

These buffoons say they won't vote for Trump because he has insulted various groups.  He has indeed said that Mexicans are sending us criminals and diseased, and he has said that no more Muslims or any other group will be admitted until they are thoroughly vetted.  He has run his mouth a lot and some of the stuff he has come across with is humorous and usually true, but it can be said to insult those who won't vote for him anyway.  Would these idiots rather have Hilary as President?  Are they so imbecilic as to think that Hillary wouldn't nominate super liberals to the Supreme Court?  Are these supposedly responsible representatives and controllers of the Republican establishment marionettes, really in love with America or their power base?  How can any responsible Republican say that they will not vote for Trump?  They can criticize him, tell him to shut his trap, and act less 'off the cuff,' but to say that they will not vote for him, and will vote for Hillary, which a few of them have indeed said, is the ultimate degree of actually being a traitor to the things their party has (supposedly) stood for for many decades, and which positions Trump has wholeheartedly espoused and promised to fulfill.

The problem is that Donald Trump is not a politician, has never held office, and is merely a highly successful businessman and entrepreneur who has turned a $10 million loan from his dad into $10 billion.  Has he been sued?  Sure.  Did he go bust in Atlantic City, or did Atlantic City make huge mistakes which caused everyone to go bust?  Trump watches endless Mexicans and others come across out borders with no limit, and it galls him, and he has promised to put a stop to it.  The Border Patrol wholeheartedly endorses him, understandably.  Trump is not beholden to Washington D.C.'s establishment of either party, and I wonder why he hasn't quoted LBJ, the most prominent of all Democrats of late when he said, "Hell, I'll make those niggers vote Democrat for 200 years."  Of course that would he hilarious, but would make everyone come down on him.  I wish he'd quote that 'off the cuff,'' of course. Democrats can't deny that it is an exact quote. Neat guy!  Hey you haters of Trump, get a life, and get wise.  If Hillary wins, America is lost.

My book "CONSEQUENCES," has been delivered from the printer, and I think it is even better than "I Hold These Truths," which I do not intend to re-print.  It is $11.95, delivered, or wholesale in lots of 16, $6 each, or $96, delivered to one address.  "Consequences" has 24 chapters, 276 pages, and I'm proud of it.  Send check to Don Stott, 222 S. 5th St, Montrose, CO 81401, and I'll send them out to you pronto.  I thought of using Amazon, but they'd have to charge sales tax and shipping, and that seems to be a high price to use a credit card.  Comments to me at 1-888-786-8822
