First of all, I wish all of you a most happy New Year. Second, I want to assure you that Putin didn’t influence America’s election. That information came from the CIA. (Please consult two previous columns). It is merely a last ditch effort of the Democrats to blame everyone but themselves for their defeat. Obama’s deporting 35 Russian officials is probably the most abhorrent action that boob has yet done, and silly members of Congress, on both sides, seem to applaud his dastardly actions. What’s wrong with you people? What can possible be wrong with being friendly to Russia? Putin has, without US assistance, caused a cease fire in Syria and is fighting ISIS, besides seeing that 75,000 have gotten out of Aleppo safely. Obama, by executive order, has instituted literally thousands of new regulations at one fell swoop, during his last couple of weeks. I can’t wait for Jan 20th! This column will be merely a direct quote from Vladimir Putin, and I cannot fault it in any way.
“It is regrettable that the Obama Administration, which started out by restoring our ties, is ending its term in anti-Russian death throes. RIP. It is a pity that the current administration is finishing its work in such a manner. Although we have the right to retaliate, we will not resort to irresponsible ‘kitchen’ diplomacy, but will plan further steps to restore Russian-US relations, based on the policies of the Trump Administration.
“We regard the recent unfriendly steps taken by the outgoing US administration, as provocative and aimed at further weakening the US-Russia relationship. This runs contrary to the fundamental interests of both the Russian and American people. Considering the global security responsibilities of Russia and the United States, this is also damaging to international relations as a whole.
“The diplomats who are returning to Russia, will spend the holidays with their families and friends. We will not create any problems for US diplomats. We will not expel anyone. We will not prevent their families and children from using their traditional leisure sites during the New Year holidays. Moreover, I invite all children of US diplomats accredited in Russia, to the New Year and Christmas parties at the Kremlin.
“It is regrettable that the Obama Administration is ending its term in this manner. Nevertheless, I offer my New Year greetings to President Obama and his family. My season’s greetings also to President-elect Donald Trump and the American people. I wish all of you happiness and prosperity”
