Once, the government had a vast scrap yard in the middle of the desert. Democrats in Congress said, “Someone may steal the scrap in the middle of the night.” They then created a night watchman position, and hired a person for the job. Then Congress wondered how the night watchman’s job would work without instructions on how to do the job. Simple! They created a planning department, and hired two people. One to write the directions, and one to do time studies. Then Congress asked, “How will we know that the night watchman is doing his job correctly?” They then created a quality control department and hired two people. One was to do the studies and one to write the reports. Then Congress asked, “How will these people get paid?” They then hired two people: One as a payroll officer and one as a time keeper.
Then Congress asked, “Who will be accountable for all these people?” So they created an administrative position and hired three people. An administrative officer, an assistant administrative officer, and a legal secretary. Then Congress looked and said, “We have had this bureaucracy in place for over a year, and are $918,000 over budget. We must cut back.” So they fired the night watchman.
It’s as if we are watching our once grand nation go to sleep on drugs from which we may never wake up. Drugs of political promises from both parties. A bureaucrat has one major job, and that is to create more employees, which would be under him or her, thereby like a multi level sales operation, placing one’s self under everyone else, and letting everyone else pretend to be working, but in reality boosting their seniority by continuing the same corruption. The State Department has over 30,000 employees. During Tom Jefferson’s presidency, the State Department had seven employees, and the earth hasn’t gotten any larger. Jimmy Carter created the Department of Energy Organization Act on August 4th, 1977, to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. Oil then, was $14.40 a barrel. It went from there to over $110, and now is $48. Now, fracking has been discovered, and we could easily be free from foreign oil. The department of Energy now has 16,000 employees, over 100,000 contract employees, and a budget of over $28 billion.
The federal bureaucracy feeds on itself like a cancer which has mestasized, poisoning the entire body. Our Constitution’s Tenth Amendment says, in 28 simple, easy to understand words, “The Powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” This Constitutional Amendment, if followed, would eliminate 90% of the federal government. When our Constitution written and voted into existence, tariffs paid for the total operation of the federal government. There were no federal taxes, handouts, subsidies, or regulations. America was free, prosperous, inventive, and the envy of the world. America invented just about everything that has been invented in all fields, because we were unencumbered by a vast Washington D.C. brothel of bureaucrats, hangers on, lobbyists, and of course Congress which keeps those votes by continuing to increase handouts. Once a handout has been easily created, it is virtually impossible to remove. It would cost politicos votes! Good luck Donald Trump!
We now have one ounce silver rounds for 23 cents over spot. Check the web site for pictures of them, which include Silver Towne Buffaloes, Morgans, and Prospectors. 10 Ounce bars at 23 cents per ounce over spot, include Silver Towne Flag, Eagle, and Buffalo bars. No one else can meet these prices. Our supplier bought a mint! One of the most frequently advertised metals outfits (who pays for the ads?) brags that they have one ounce silver rounds for 89 cents over spot. Don Stott.
