Get Rid of It

One of Trump’s campaign promises, was to get rid of Obamacare.  It seems as though a bit has been added to that promise.  Not only get rid of it, but put something else in its place.  The arguing has been going on for six months now, and has divided the Republican party.  The latest proposal by Trump is to simply vote it out and consider a replacement later.  What a GREAT IDEA!  Think about getting rid of it, period.  We then would be back where we were before Obamacare.  Anything wrong with that?  That would be great, in my opinion.

Before Obamacare, which was passed without a single Republican vote, all was certainly not as it would be with no Medicare or Medicaid.  It wouldn’t take us back before food stamps, Section 8, and tons of welfare schemes which have bankrupted us, but at least we would be back where we were before Obamacare.  There’d still be Medicare and Medicaid, and insurance companies would not be going broke.  They’d compete for our business, and if someone didn’t want insurance, that’s their tough luck if they got sick.  The same with pre-exisiting conditions, which happens to be the absolute stupidest thing ever conceived by the lame brains in DC.  Think about it.  A person has no insurance for anything, be it a car wreck, a fire, leaky roof, broken leg, or cancer.  “My roof’s leaking, I want leaking roof insurance ‘cause I don’t have any and need it now that my roof’s leaking.”  “I just wrecked my car and I want insurance to cover it because I don’t have any.”  Absurd?  Yup, but that’s what liberals want to foist on everyone, and guess who pays?  That’s what they’re trying to include in any replacement for Obamacare, and it’s an absurdity, just like a car wreck with no insurance.

Going back to the situation before Obamacare, we’d be free of all the nonsense which is exactly what Democrats, liberals, socialists, and communists (is there any difference?) want, and that is another Canada or U.K, system, which covers everyone poorly, and at huge expense to all taxpayers.  America was founded on freedom.  Freedom to act as you please, as long as you don’t hurt anyone else.  Hurt yourself all you please, and make lousy decisions, but as long as you don’t harm anyone but yourself, go to it.  In other words, if you don’t want to insure your health, and you get cancer or a broken leg, that’s your responsibility.

Forced  liability auto insurance is logical, because a lot of damage to others can be caused by an automobile.  Why can’t we just forget a replacement, and just get rid of it?  Oregon has decided that all insurance must provide for every eventuality that can happen, including birth, stupidity, and all health needs.  Not only that, but illegals must be included also!  Whoopee, and I am certain that all the rest of the liberal states (California, Washington, and New York) will decide that sounds like a good idea, and they’ll write a set of similar laws.  That will relieve insurance companies of insuring those states I am sure, because they’ll all leave instantly.  Freedom to pass all the dumb laws, and freedom to drive health care insurance businesses out.  Let each state decide what they want to do with Medicaid and everything else, and leave DC out of it.

Maybe even Democrats would vote to get rid of Obamacare, since it is an utter failure anyway, with insurance premiums going through the roof and many companies just quitting all together.  They’d have to admit Obamacare is a failure and be glad to get rid of it.  Forward this to your representatives and Senators.  Maybe they’d have to admit it is a fine idea.  Get rid of it.

I have no idea of where metals’ going down will end, but with silver below $16, and gold down close to $80, it is a huge bargain. – Don Stott
