I am of the ever-increasing opinion that America is going down the tubes. As an example, see various idiots, who have decided that they are not happy being a male or female, so they ingest huge amounts of hormones, trying to change their bodies and minds. They’re ‘equal,’ and can all use the same rest rooms and all play on the same teams, by government edict? Not me. No cake, dog, cat, building, music, instrument, auto, train, plane, or person, is equal. No two snowflakes are equal! We can hope that Tom Jefferson meant ‘with equal opportunities,’ rather than “Created equal.” If his words are to be taken as ‘all men,’ being created equal, what about women? Since it is obvious, to me anyway, that nothing is ‘equal,’ I wish that the liberals would stop interpretating the “Declaration,” as meaning everyone is equal, since they are not, including all women, races, ages, heights, abilities, intelligence, health, accents, language spoken, heritage, or any other comparison. NO PERSON IS EQUAL WITH ANY OPTHER PERSON. So why then, do we have to have female soldiers, police, or any other occupation or sport, designed for males? In my local police force, there is the cutest little cop, of about 5”1”, but why is she a cop? She could no more handle a rough, drunk male, than fly to the moon. She was hired, I am sure, because everyone is ‘equal,’ and all can do the same job ‘equally,’ according to law. Nonsense. Male homosexuals should never be in the armed forces, nor should females be in them. America is self-destructing, because of that word “equality.” If Tom Jefferson’s “Declaration of Independence,” is to be taken literally, then no females can possibly be as ‘equal’ as men, because Jefferson didn’t include them.
Then there is the word “PUBLIC,” which has garnered all types of problems. Public rest rooms, or ‘public’ anything, is indicative of inferior, simply because they are public, meaning everyone can use them or it. It probably began with schools. And I am going to quote from a couple of paragraphs from a book I wrote beginning in 1986, and finally self-published it in 1991. It’s long gone after three re-printings. It’s my opinions on 89 different subjects, and 35 years later, I haven’t changed my mind about any of them. (I may still have the book on computer.)
“Of all the examples of just how bad “public” things can be, public schools are exemplary. America’s public schools are graduating kids who can’t read road signs, find their own country on a map, add, subtract, or use correct grammar. A bumper crop of dummies who know nothing about history, art, or music, and are unfit for just about anything, other than perhaps slinging hash at a greasy spoon. There, the cash register tells them how much change to give, and they only have to push picture buttons, rather than real numbers on a cash register. America’s public schools are an utter disgrace, and make a mockery of the word “education.”
“What to do? Enough money has already been thrown at them for anyone with a modicum of intelligence to realize money won’t work. Government ‘programs’, such as Head Start, feeding the kids, bussing, coddling, begging, pleading, threatening, setting standards, and the entire nine yards of government gobbledygook won’t, hasn’t, and can’t work. Government is incapable of doing anything well, efficiently, or logically. From the June 10, 1991 Forbes: “The public school system of New York City, (population 7 million), has more bureaucrats and administrators than does the educational bureaucracy of the entire nation of France, (Population 56 million).”
It’s a long chapter, but “Education is as much the duty of parents such as teaching language, toilet training, clothing, feeding, and housing a child till it is grown. Government has taken that responsibility away from parents, and performed it miserably.” The chapter then advocates home schooling and private schools, with property taxes being cut by 75%, which is what pays for public schools. “I know, you will say some parents may not be smart enough to see to it that their children get an education. Well, that’s what’s happening now WITH public the public school system. Look people, parents directly guide their kids in the formative years, and experts say that by the age of six, a child has already absorbed 50% of all they will ever learn, and that’s why various ‘programs’ can’t and won’t work. If a parent is a bum, they will undoubtedly raise bums, whether the school is public or not.”
“How can this miserable system be transformed into a private system? I think I have a way. It can’t be done all at once, that’s for sure. It has to be done gradually, and either in a big city or small town. Take a school that is either unused, in bad condition, or has low enrollment. Advertise it for sale by the school district, with the understanding that it is to be used for use as a private school, without qualifications as to what grades or curriculum it will teach. After it is sold, it will forever be off the tax rolls, and will always be a school. Every child attending hat school, will have their parent’s home relieved of property taxes as long as that child or children are in that school.” You get the idea. The public school system can be eliminated gradually by this or other means. Turning a once public school into a private, for profit school. There were no public schools till about 150 years ago, and if you have ever read a “Duffy’s Reader,” you will realize instantly, that parental education and private schools, had it all over today’s public-school monstrosities.
Public rest rooms, public housing, public anything, compared to a private of the same thing, needs no explanation. Equality, simply doesn’t exist, and trying to equalize everything has proven to be a disaster in all fields. “Birds of a feather, flock together,” is the old saying, and it has proven to be all so true. Blacks live in the same neighborhoods, as do Greeks, Italians, Chinese etc. and it’s all by choice, not government edict. School bussing cost billions, and further estranged whites from blacks. Government force seems to always have disastrous consequences, and this includes war. Freedom, means that most rules, regulations, and many laws should be abolished. People, left alone, will solve their own problems, as has happened with the disastrous public schools, gentrified neighborhoods, ‘white flight,’ restaurants, theatres and the whole ball of wax. Governments are to protect us from our enemies and provide justice, and for no other reason. There is nothing in the Constitution about health care, public anything, executive orders, subsidizing anything, and most of what the D.C swamp does daily, and this includes RINO Republicans and most Democrats.
