I have written about this already, but I feel more and more certain of it as I pen this column. I wish that this would spread around the nation, because I honestly believe it is true. Just a review, first of all. Until 1991, the cold War was in full bloom. It was the ‘free world,’ against the Soviet Union. Both sides had increased their arms and destructive capability so much, that it was called the ‘arms race’ by the media, and it truly was. The Soviets had overwhelmed many nations, imported their troops into them, and Russian had become almost their language. Misery was everywhere the Soviets were, and there seemed to be no end of it. Suddenly, in 1991, the Soviet Union was no more. It had gone bankrupt. Communism was dead, and once again Russia was a non-communist nation, albeit one that was, and still is, ruled by a powerful semi-socialist government. The Soviet Union, suddenly, with no warning, was but am unpleasant memory. R.I.P.
Today, communist China, is ruled and controlled by the CCP, or Chinese Communist Party. Its Party and Chinese nation’s head, XI Jinping, has been voted as ruler for life. Trillions of un-backed Chinese money has been loaned and spent around the world. U.S. industries, transportation, and entertainment, just to name a few. China has bought and begun to develop properties around the world, and its navy and army are supposed to be the most powerful anywhere. Over the past few months, many articles in the Journal (Wall Street), have mentioned various incidents and conditions in China., which were factual but deleterious to China in various areas. Had I cut out the various articles, together, they would indicate that China is in very bad economic condition.
The CCP has built entire cities which are not inhabited, state owned businesses which are bankrupt but held together by thin threads to government owned banks. Banks which have made loans to entities owned or controlled by the CCP or government, and which loans are never repaid. A dew quotes from a long Wall Street Journal piece on Sept. 21st. “It is Xi’s plan to turn China into a Maoist nation. Mao’s development theories, state that capitalism is temporary, and will help China’s economy catch up to the West before being replaced by socialism. Xi is putting the whole government and party behind his plans to make business serve the state. When the Chinese Communist Party celebrated its centenary on July 1st, Mr. Xi donned a Mao suit and stood behind a podium adorned with a hammer and a sickle, pledging to stand for the people. After the speech, he sang, along with “The Internationale,” broadcast across Tiananmen Square. In China, the song, a feature of the socialist movement since the late 1800’s, has long symbolized a declaration of war by the working class on capitalism.” Chairman Mao was responsible for the murder of millions of Chinese and fostered a brutal, tyranny, virtually un-equaled in history. Xi is determined to make China to return to it.
I’ve recently bought and read a new book titled, “Red Roulette,” written by Desmond Shum, who is extremely knowledgeable, and has had contact with insiders over the years. It is extremely enlightening about the current China controlled by the CCP. A few quotes from the book. “China subsidizes most of its exports,” (obviously to make them cheap and compete with us). “In China, the rules are intentionally fuzzy, constantly changing, and always back-dated, and the courts function as a tool of Party control. The Party has passed laws such as national security legislation, that obligates all companies in China, if directed, to spy for the state. If you deal with a state-owned enterprise, the Chinese Government can always come after you in a few years, make a spurious allegation, and have you tossed into jail. Whitney (his wife) and I used our contacts in Zhejiang and Fujian provinces to try to determine why the Party had picked XI to run China. The consensus among many of our friends and contacts were, that he wasn’t even borderline talented, and wasn’t educated. Regardless, Xi Jinping would prove to be a savvy and cold-blooded political infighter and become China’s most powerful Party boss in a generation.”
Here's a quote from Mark Levin’s new book, “American Marxism.” From page 70: “Let’s look at Communist China. Chinese citizens are not free to change jobs; they are assigned social credits based on their strict compliance with governmental dictates: they must worship China’s brutal dictator, Xi Jinping, as a supreme leader; religion is all but banned; the judicial system exists to enforce Communist Party orthodoxy; there exists an extensive network of concentration camps; etc. For most cogent people, this is far from the idyllic nirvana promised by propagandists, especially university professors.”
Look at the current facts. China has already destroyed Hong Kong, which was a source of huge profits for China, but it could not stand for freedom of expression, and those who wanted it, spoke and demonstrated for freedom, are in jail today. Nothing will stand in the way of Xi’s determination to make China, run by the CCP, become the image of Chairman Mao. As each year passes, China will continue to spend lavishly, unconcerned with economics, business failures kept alive by worthless bank loans, and manufactured goods made cheap by government subsidies. Total government control, as was the Soviet Union.
Socialism and total government control over everything, cannot work for long, even though the Soviets did last for a few decades before it had to collapse. China’s supposed ‘prosperity,’ has already lasted a few decades, and will fail, all at once, I believe. Evergrande, a huge real estate failure, is just an example, and that alone could spread throughout the world and China, making people leery of buying from, or loaning to, a communistic party and state. The entire nation, its party, government, and leaders are disgusting and certain to fail, leaving a trail of broken promises and poverty. Smart investors, to me, are foolish investing in China, regardless of promised profits. Enron might be an example of a puffed-up outfit with books kept by Anderson! Currently, there are 60 ships outside Los Angeles Harbor, waiting to get into port, so they can un-load hundreds of containers full of millions of Chinese made things, which will be bought and consumed by foolish Americans. Why is it, that supposedly Christian held, Hobby Lobby, whose stores sell 99% of Chinese objects, aid and abet atheistic, communistic China? Walmart and others, keep China’s ultimate failure, prolonged by buying from them. Halloween, and Christmas are at hand, and costumes, ornaments, and most everything used to celebrate, are bought from stores who buy almost 100%, it seems, from communist, atheist, brutal, China. Why aren’t Americans smart enough, not to buy Chinese or Vietnamese anything, even if you have to do without? All signs point to China becoming an eventual Soviet Union, in my opinion anyway.
