Punch and Judy

You all remember the Punch and Judy shows, I assume.  Being old, maybe Howdy Doody will suffice for you.  Mr. Punch and his wife Judy, were always having little discussions or disagreements with each other.  Kids loved the shows, and they were fun. The point of mentioning this, is we seem to see a puppet show in Washington D.C. of late.  The current Presidential Punch and Judy puppet Shows’ dialogue, is being written by the puppets’  ‘operators,’, since the puppets have no brains or ability to think and speak, but it is merely a stage show.  The puppets merely move their mouths and move about a bit, making it look close to human, but not with an empty face as with Biden.

Joe Biden, at one time, was a really sharp politician, not of my liking, but he was smart and a forceful speaker.  I well remember when he had his hair transplants, to stop the top of his head from shining.  Turned out OK, didn’t they?  I never liked his politics, but at least he spoke well.  Maybe being V.P. under Obama cost him his mind?  After all, eight years under Obama, might cost anyone their senses.  Old film of Joe Biden speaking, showed him forceful, determined and not with an empty face.  Maybe Obama is habit forming, as he is once again inhabiting the White House, completely overshadowing Biden.

I won’t get into the famous Biden laptop.

Today, unfortunately, Joe Biden is President.  I cannot abide those who foolishly insist that the election was ‘stolen’ from Donald Trump.  Trump has been making an ass of himself ever since he lost, but he still seems to have an influence on the Republican Party.  His ‘influence’ though, cost Republicans the U.S. Senate when Georgia went Democrat, and it was Trump’s fault.  Be that as it may, that’s not what I am almost daily observing.

Joe Biden, as far as I can see, is merely a puppet, speaking the wishes of his ‘operators,’ the radical left Democrats.  The ‘Squad’ and their fellow travelers, seemingly write his speeches and answers to questions for him, and he reads them fairly well.  If Biden has a news conference, questions must be written well in advance, so he can get answers from his speech writers, and since he cannot remember names, he has written who he must call for the previously written questions, so he can give his ‘operators,’ as in a puppet show, the answers they have given to written questions.  When Joe Biden doesn’t have a script or a screen from which he can slowly read, he often talks without a score, and he speaks gibberish at times, and is the subject of hilarious film clips of his sad efforts at sentence composition. Trump had no empty face, as does Biden, and always had a succinct answer to all questions, with no preparations.  Trump often made reporters laugh with his instant and sharp answers.  History will long remember him saying that Hillary should be in jail!

The ’Squad’ and company, under the name of Joe Biden, has caused inflation, hundreds of electrical plants to close, soon to be food shortages I think, millions of illegals freely crossing our borders, thanks to a Biden invitation, and illegals being bussed and flown to various cities, dropped off, and left to infiltrate into America.  Surly no one in their right mind, including liberals, can observe Biden reading the teleprompter with his empty face and hesitating voice, and really believe he is speaking his own mind!  His mind is like Mr. Punch or his wife Judy.  They move their mouths, but it is behind the scenes or under the counter, who are speaking.  They’re just puppets.

The current puppet like President, is a first in our history I am certain, and there nothing we can do about it.  If Republicans capture Congress in November, Biden will still be president.  If he is legally removed, America will be stuck with not an empty face, but an empty brain vice president, who would probably make a fool of herself, like Disney’s CEO did recently, which may, and should cost him his job.

So much about politics.  Sorry, it’s just so obvious.  Here’s a classic example of what we often hear.  Will gold go up?  Will silver go up?  The obvious answer is “YES”, simply because in history, politicians have never been able, or even desirous of balancing their budgets and spending only what they receive from hapless tax payers.  They then print the money to pay the exorbitant bills, probably a good number of which are pointless, but satisfy their constituents.  inflation results, causing everything to go up in whatever currency is used.  The Lebanese currency has lost 90% of its value or purchasing power of late, as an example of what can happen quickly.  Do you think they wish they had bought gold or silver?

However, the ‘yes’ is not tomorrow or even next week, even though it could be, because all markets have their ups and downs, due to demand and supply.  Even though I am ‘retired,’ people do call me on occasion, even though my phone number is not on the screen.  The son of a gal I have done business with in the past, called me and expressed worry about what is happening, with maybe 9% inflation, because he had a lot of money in the bank.  As he said, ‘my life savings.’  He asked me what he should he do.  I told him I am no financial advisor, but I have virtually nothing in the bank, and my life’s savings are in silver and gold, and I am quite happy with it.  On Feb 2nd, he bought his life’s savings in silver and gold, and as I write this on April 24th, his $402,000 purchase is worth $610,166.  Is this typical?  I don’t keep scores, but over time, gold, silver, tires, real estate, Coca Cola, paint, groceries, utilities, taxes, and yes income to try to keep up with inflation, all go up.  It is totally unavoidable.  Prices going up in any paper money, have to go up, and this means all things go up, including gold and silver. Conversely, as prices go up, the value of the money is going down, which is inflation.  Tangible gold and silver are insurance against inflation, government and political stupidity, wars, and a lot of things, which is what has always happened, and few have brains enough to protect themselves, but keep on saving in the decreasing value dollars, pounds, pesos, yuan, or what have you. If prices, and gold and silver are going up with inflation, how is your 1% savings account or 2% government bonds profiting you?

Ask any ‘financial advisor’ how he or she makes their money, and he or she will tell you that their charges are maybe 1% a year of your savings, and they are not responsible for the advice being wrong.  They deal in dollar things, such as stock, bonds, and the like.  Gold and silver just sit there, in your safe or secure place, with no taxes, no percentage charges, storage fees. Ho Hum.
