It already has!!!
“Socialism; The stage of society in Marxist Doctrine, coming between the capitalistic stage and the communistic stage, in which private ownership of the means of production and distribution has been eliminated.” Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary.
That’s a polite way of saying that government controls our life, as opposed to the Tenth Amendment of our Constitution, which says, “The powers not delegated to the United States, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States, or to the people.”
Does government control all our lives? There are 485 ‘federal agencies,’ 301 ‘sub agencies,’ 137 ‘independent agencies,’ 268 ‘units in the cabinet,’ and 15 ‘departments.’ Consider the Tenth Amendment above, and tell me how any of these, except Treasury, State, and Post office, don’t violate that Amendment. The result of these Constitutional violations, is that the federal government is the largest employer in America. Here’s another figure. 19% of the federal budget is spent on welfare.
The welfare state began with Woodrow Wilson’s getting us into WW I, plus many other things, but Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) really got us onto the bankruptcy track when he took office in 1933. In the previous 195 years, America prospered, invented, manufactured, and became the largest, richest nation on Earth. There was no Social Security, Medicaid, endless hidden and obvious taxes, and the 1% income tax, was a carry-over from Wilson. No minimum wages, endless rules, regulations, and probably a hundred hidden taxes on everything we buy. Those days were the days of nickel Hershey Bars and Cokes. It takes a huge imagination, to even consider how wonderful things were without the enormous inflation of the last 90 years. America, before Roosevelt, was strong and healthy, even though the market crash immediately before Roosevelt, was severe, and like other crashes, they would have self-corrected, without Roosevelt’s socialism introduction, which got us into WW II.
America, since FDR, has become a socialistic, welfare state, and with each shooting, drug overdose, and fake ‘scientific’ emergency, such as ‘climate change,’ ’The ozone cloud’ fraud, and now the windmill, solar collector outrage, there is no possible way to stop the plunge into total government. That is extreme, but is it? From last Thursday’s Journal, comes a bureaucracy no one has heard of, but it exists. It’s called the ‘Disadvantaged Business Enterprises,” outfit, which subsidizes businesses run by black, brown, and any ‘disadvantaged person.’ Take your pick. The article gave an example of a $42 million bridge paint job, which had been over-bid, by a ‘disadvantaged’ bidder. The feds gave that ‘disadvantaged’ bidder, several millions, so they could get the job. Those millions and plenty of others, adds to the money supply, and discourages anyone trying to make an honest living; in this case by owning a painting company. I am certain that hundreds of such happenings in the bureaucratic maze, occur daily.
Roosevelt’s socialism, was called “The New Deal,” and he once said of it, ”What we are doing in this country, are some of the things that are being done in Russia, and even some of the thing being done under Hitler in Germany, but we’re doing them in an orderly way.” Also, “I believe in nationalizing public necessities, which by their very nature, are too important to be held in control of private individuals. I believe in upholding the right of private property, yet in controlling it for the public good.” Public housing, was begun under Roosevelt, and thanks to its inhabitants, usually have a life span of about 35 years, due to constant vandalism, and then they are torn down.

Socialistic “Scientists,” told the world that that a hole in the ozone cloud was soon to be fatal to the globe, and all refrigeration units in the entire world had to immediately be switched from Freon 12, to Freon 134. At a cost of a trillion dollars, it was done, and guess what? The hole in the cloud is still there, and probably has been for a million years.
Socialistic “scientists,” have had their fatal instructions followed to the letter in the last 25 years, and they are still costing trillions, with no end in sight, nor any visible changes, other than harming everyone, it seems. Currently, all windmills and solar collectors, both with lifespans of 20-25 years, are producing electricity with huge subsidies, and without them, would not even be remotely competitive. Wonderful, efficient, coal powered generating plants are being shut down, which exhausts, many decades ago, had been cleaned. Biden and his socialistic, bureaucrats and congressional Democrats, have ordered that 67% of all autos sold by 2030 must be electric, which of course is impossible, but to make it even more expensive, another bureaucrat has decided to ‘Tighten tailpipe emissions,’ on all autos and trucks, as if they aren’t already ‘tight’ enough. Socialist bureaucrats, think this will force us to buy an electric car, which has a range of a couple hundred miles, and cost more than twice what a gasoline powered car costs, which car has no mileage limits. Is this to keep us from freely traveling, which is a socialist dream?.
Don’t be fooled, the polar bears are fine, the oceans are not rising, CO2 is great and makes everything grow wonderfully, the temperature has not risen in the last 25 years, glaciers are not melting any faster than they always have, hurricanes and tornados have always been with us, and the most severe ones were close to a hundred years ago. Minor weather, temperature and precipitation changes, have been around for a million years, and no fake ‘science,’ was around to frighten us.
Speaking of a hundred years ago, all locomotives burned coal, houses were heated with coal, and insulation was virtually unheard of. Millions of grossly inefficient cars and trucks, burned trillions of gallons of lead laced fuel, (diesel was not common then), and everyone spewed trillions of ponds of CO2 into the air, and the climate wasn’t ‘changing.’ Fake, socialistic science, hadn’t been born a hundred years ago. A hundred years ago, vehicles didn’t have to be tested for emissions, and homeless vagabonds didn’t erect tents in major cities. Most of the socialistic, inconvenient, expensive, pointless, government nonsense, didn’t exist, and government was a small fraction of the size it currently is.
We daily watch America fade into insignificance, as government and bureaucracy grow, China threatens, Russia invades, big cities waste away with violent crime, drugs, shop lifting, homelessness, stores closing, police quitting, and honest families, and corporations moving from big cities, which used to be magnificent. Where will it end? Have Republicans or Democrats slowed this obvious nation-wide catastrophe? Has any party done anything to stop America being invaded yearly, by millions of illegals?
Poverty is incurable, and even the Bible says, “The poor will always be with us.” Subsidizing poverty with freebies and welfare, is an absurdity, and has only created more worthless, lazy recipients, with more demands. I well remember when food stamps came into existence in 1972, and I couldn’t believe it. Government buying food? Socialistic food stamps, rent control, minimum wages, OSHA, welfare in myriad forms, has come into existence, by impossible to fire bureaucrats and Republican and Democrat Representatives, Senators, and Presidents, to buy votes, and it’s all that simple. Handouts, have been so habit forming, destructive and addictive, that most Americans have become dependent on them, and they would be impossible to remove.
This brings me to an idea which I have been preaching for over 40 years, as a way to get rid of it. PREVENT NEW ENTRIES. Those who depend on handouts, which are all of us practically, (Do you get Social Security?), let us alone, but no new entries for any reason. As we die off, welfare will cease over our lifetimes, and America could be whole again. Don’t hold your breath, but stop depending on the dollar as a way to store wealth. Store surplus wealth in historic money, which happens to be silver and gold. If you don’t believe me, consult history, even back to Biblical times and before there was writing and an alphabet. It’s always been silver and gold which were money and valuable. There was no paper money found in the Egyptian pyramids!
