Deserve

My dictionary’s definition of reserve is, “To be worthy, fit for a reward,” and I won’t argue with that. Typically, that word had been miss-used almost 100% of the time in today’s political atmosphere. “Deserving,” in today’s lingo, simply means anyone who ‘should’ receive a handout. They may be fat, filthy, lazy, stupid, poor, unable to read, write, speak English, old, sick, homeless, or any of maybe a hundred categories, which make one eligible or ‘deserving’ a welfare check, regardless of a dictionary definition of that plain English word. If the correct definition of that word were used, the welfare, crime, homeless, and other dollar destroying items, would be instantly solved.
If a person is DESERVING, it may be that they have exhausted all avenues of solutions to their problems. If all avenues are examined, this means that bathing has been practiced, addictions conquered, education pursued, manners practiced, responsibility adapted, birth control used, and all efforts available have been used by an applicant to solve his or her problems. Even then, ‘welfare’ is not in our Constitution, and handouts before FDR, came from churches and voluntary help from charities and families, and not government. 90 years and probably $20 trillion spent, hasn’t reduced poverty by even one percent, but rather increased it. Why worry, work, or be responsible, when you don’t have to?
A recent debate on PBS, concerned poverty “programs,” and other handouts from the public treasury. The debates were, to me anyway, designed to validate stupidity, and prove that the term “’political action,” means government force to create fake outcomes. Republicans, which barely control the House of Representatives currently, and naturally all Democrats in both houses, plus the President, have run the Federal Deficit to almost $37 trillion. In the year 2000, the deficit was $3 trillion! Neither Trump nor any other president or legislative body, have lowered that figure, or even attempted to lower it, meaning it is now in the run-away stage, and nothing to stop it, other than obvious bankruptcies, which have destroyed all nations in history. Both Trump and Harris are campaigning on more handouts and more deficits. No matter who wins, the ultimate result, is un-avoidable.
Today, Americans owe literally trillions of dollars for credit card debt, (usually at 21% interest), mortgages, car loans and cash advances. Consumer debt is un-payable, as is the Federal debt, other than with Monopoly money, which, like the dollar, is backed by pieces of paper with fancy printing and other attempts to keep it from being ‘counterfeited,’ but even then, backed by thin air and, “The full faith and credit of the U.S. Federal Government.” Does that phrase impress you? As I just said, ‘thin air.’
There are current efforts to even get rid of U.S. paper money, so much has been counterfeited, plus so your every purchase and income can be traced by Uncle Sam. Ever wonder what would happen if the electrical grid failed, computers all crashed, bit-coin became as valueless as dollars, and the stock market did again what it did in 1929? I have no idea what will happen tomorrow, and I admit I was shocked when all the pagers blew up at one time in Lebanon, and then the walkie-talkies did the same. IT COULD HAPPEN HERE, and I hope it doesn’t. If or when, even a percentage of what I just mentioned happens, I surely believe that living in a major city might be a good thing to re-consider. It takes no re-consideration to realize that in times like these, one must be armed, and have real money in the form of gold and silver on hand, because in all known history, there has been no other real money, other than gold and silver. That’s why David, Melissa, Morgen and I am here.
