There are certain things one does, without even thinking about it, when you do them. Breathing, as an example. If you had to concentrate on, be aware of, and command, every breath you take, it would wear you out in a day, if you didn’t die from asphyxiation, while you were asleep. We do things automatically, without even thinking, and that’s how life is. Walking, talking, breathing, thinking, looking, listening, smelling, laughing, crying, and the list is endless, are automatic. Our bodies are marvelous! Most of the things we do, were learned from infancy and childhood. Children can learn languages easily, and if parents speak a couple of languages, it is, to me, criminal, not to raise the children bi-lingually. They learn so easily! Children learn not to need diapers, usually by age two, and that function becomes virtually automatic.
Even dogs can learn to do things automatically, such as not to poop and pee in the house, and defend their owner’s property, which is a great thing for dogs to learn. Dogs, have hundreds of times, saved a child’s life by pulling them away from an oncoming car, truck, or train, and saved from drowning. I have heard that 40% of American households, own a dog. I love dogs, they are marvelous creatures, and remember, dog is God spelled backwards! Cats? Maybe, but I’m a dog man.
We learn to type, act, play music, drive, and use correct grammar and table manners, automatically, after we are trained, or we train ourselves. Public speakers, learn to modulate their speech, without even thinking about it, if they are good speakers. As past president of a “Toastmaster’s Club,” Modulation, in a speech, or even in conversation, is variations of, ‘pitch, pace, and power.’ Pastors, need to learn these traits, and use them automatically, if they are to please their flocks.
One thing we learn from childhood, is money. Money buys things, we work for money, our wages are paid in money, thieves steal money, and we have to protect our money, by keeping it in a safe place. George Bernard Shaw, not my favorite author, once said that, “Money is indeed the most important thing in the world; and all sound and successful personal and national morality, should have this fact for its basis.” How about, “God made bees, and bees make money. God made man, and man makes money?”
Even though the money of all nations, has been corrupted, printed to virtual worthlessness, and backed by nothing, we still use the term ‘money,’ for the currencies of all nations. The only real money around anywhere, is gold and silver. They are not printed into worthlessness, nor corrupted by governments. ‘Legal tender’ laws, force us to use the various ‘monies,’ to buy and sell. Just like money, we also keep our gold and silver in a safe place. We keep our dollars in banks for safe keeping, and to use checks conveniently, to pay bills. There is no secrecy of money kept in banks, stocks, savings accounts, bit-coin, or bonds, because all require you to give your Social Security number, to open an account in any of them.
If your money is kept in any of the above, is it safe? Safe from being stolen, and convenient if you use checks, but it is not safe in VALUE. There is no institution, which can preserve the VALUE of any currency, and even hiding it under a mattress in your bed, won’t preserve its value. The only way to preserve money’s value, is by insuring it. Not with an insurance company, as that won’t preserve its value. You have to get your own insurance policy, to preserve your money’s value, and that happens to be historic money, in all nations, at all times, in all of history, and not to be boring, it is gold and silver, which we deliver to you by charging 1%, no premiums to pay, and no charge if you wish to sell. the gold and silver we handle, originates from various mints and governments, and comes to us from the world’s largest distributor.
