In ancient Babylon, there was no paper money. Their money was the shekel, which equaled to a quarter ounce of silver. Therefore, they had no inflation! Imagine that! 1800 years ago, the money was a silver shekel, or a quarter ounce of silver. That was much better than what we have today, which is un-backed pieces of paper dollar bills, whose value is determined by the printing on their faces. Monopoly money actually has the same value, and if the U.S. government passed a ‘legal ender Law’ Monopoly money would be real ‘money!’ Babylon also had a crime deterrent written by their King Hammurabi, who was born about 1800 B.C.
King Hammurabi, wrote the “Hammurabi Code,” which was ancient Babylon’s code of laws. It consists of close to 280 laws, covering about everything. America might well adopt the entire code, word for word. It covers everything from land, sales, credit, and every other type of fraud and felony imaginable. It mandates the death penalty for such things as theft, fraud, murder, and lots of outrageous crimes we see or read about every day.
The “Hammurabi Code,” had no ”Trial by jury,” which makes lawyers rich and does little for victims. Criminals run free, a theft of less than a thousand dollars, is no theft, con artists flourish, and every sort of mayhem exists in America’s great cities, or for that matter, the entire world. Why? Because noone wants to give the ultimate punishment, which is death but rather imprisonment or a slap on the wrist. Isn’t life imprisonment harsher and far more expensive, than death? Who are the vagabonds who run over us with all their dastardly deeds? Mostly welfare recipients, white and black trash and black males between the ages of 15 and 35. Recidivism is rampart of course, because parole shouldn’t exist in the first place.
The “code” dictates that sex offenders, murderers, rapists, and child molesters should be executed on the spot. The cost of life imprisonment is over $50,000 a year, plus taking up jail space, which costs a bundle to build. Lope off their heads and get it over with, I say. There should be no penitentiaries at all, and if someone has done something to deserve that, he should have already been hung or electrocuted. I am sick of seeing endless, worthless criminals on the news being hauled away after they have done something rotten or disgusting, only to be freed or ‘counseled’ by liberal judges. Let the cops shoot them, rather than having to fill out a report if they ever remove their gun from its holster. High speed chases in stolen cars, which always end up in a crash? Shoot them on the spot.
In Hammurabi’s time, there was no ‘white collar crime,’ so maybe jails could be used for that. There are many non-violent crimes which should be punished. Illegal’s should be sent back home, and let their home courts punish them.
Bring back vigilantism. If someone tried to rob me, I’d simply empty my gun on him, and then call the cops. No wasted expensive court trials. Get rid of all welfare. There are millions of vermin living in big cities. In the old West, death was carried out pretty quickly on law breakers, horse thieves, cattle rustlers, robbers, and other miscreants. Worked pretty well!
The above will never happen, even though it should. Imagine how safe America or the world would be, if the Hammurabi code were adopted. Protesters of this, will say that many innocents would be killed, whereas many innocents are being killed now, by the criminals who should have been shot! I wonder how many of each there are? In my opinion, the best way to implement the code, is for everyone be armed, and shoot to kill, then call the cops!
