The 2025 China

The Chairman of China Mao, (1893-1976), killed 65 million, and when he died, left China as probably the poorest, most underdeveloped, enslaved, nation on earth. There was no industry, food, or civilization, and China was literally starving. It was hopeless, to put it mildly. There were no Chinese students in America, and no American or American industry was exporting technology to China, as there was nothing there. Obviously then or now, no American students wanted to go to China, to steal communism, slavery, poverty, and dictatorship. Hardly!

Today’s column, will mostly be based on a direct quote from Saturday’s Journal, 6/14/25, page A-11, top of second column, written by a former chief of American Central Intelligence, Robert Gates.

“Beijing is steadily growing more powerful and technology advanced militarily, and its military industrial capacity, now far outstrips America’s. China has a large, developed economy and the ability to hold the U.S. hostage in key supply-chain areas, such as such as refined rare earth minerals, where we lack alternatives. It is the largest trading partner in more than 120 countries (including every country in South America), has developed assistance and construction projects under the Belt and Road initiative with some 150 countries, controls or manages 100 ports in more than 60 countries, and aggressively uses economic leverage to attain political and geostrategic objectives.

“In the early 2000’s, Xi Jinping’s predecessor, Hu Jintao, invested billions of dollars in a global communications network. Every country in the world, receives Chinese radio, television, social media, print media, and educational and professional exchange opportunities. All these media spread the message that the U.S. is in decline and China is the only reliable and predictable economic partner.”
The column never stated that most of Chinese ‘developments’ and ‘achievements’ have been stolen from us, some either by bribery, or Chinese ‘students’ carrying back stolen or copied American technology. The column also never mentions that Chinese everything else, originated by foolish American industry buying trillions of objects made by enslaved workers in communist factories, working for a few American cents per hour, and flooding American ‘big box’ and all other smaller retail and wholesale sources, with inferior cheap products, which ‘saved’ Americans money, but at the same time has ‘cost’ America millions of jobs, leaving probably thousands of former U.S. factories, empty, incinerated, or vandalized. Sam Walton’s kids started it all, in total avoidance of their father’s practices of never selling anything not made in America. It has spread everywhere in the free world, making what was once a destitute, enslaved, poverty ridden, useless nation, into what it now is, and that is a threat to the free world.

The column also never mentioned that, in my long held belief, that Chinese language and writing, is totally foreign to every other nation on Earth.

Can this tragic, self-inflicted, self-immolation of the worlds free nations’ obvious supremacy, be reversed? Can America’s stores, ever not sell Chinese made screwdrivers and pliers? Can America’s refrigeration systems, ever stop using Chinese made compressors, and mechanics stop using Chinese made parts? Can America’s furniture stores, ever stop selling Chinese made sofas and chairs? Did China invent the electric car, or simply copy Musk’s, and make it cheaper? Why did American industry move to China where its techniques, mass production, and every single American invention, practice, life style, and habits, could be copied and done at half price? Industry did it, not out of love or consideration for America, but failure to consider obvious, long term, fatal, economic, American supremacy and prosperity.

China, of 75 years ago, could be thought of, as a child playing with a Lionel electric train, growing up and as an adult, copying everything he could see, and magically transferring it to willing copyists, who could never have invented even the Lionel train, but could copy and steal everything in our world, not just toys. They weren’t smart. Just imitaters.

Is it too late? I don’t know, but I do know that like last week’s “No King” affair moved around America, protesting Israel, a similar movement could be hatched in America, and spread, crippling China’s economy. If all Chinese students, or for that matter, maybe all Oriental ones from Vietnam and others were prohibited, which are also communist, possibly a severe leak of American technology could be thwarted. More power to Trump for his efforts in those directions. Imagine that if no industry, manufacturer, retailer or wholesaler, stopped and never again bought anything made in China, what would happen to China’s already shaky and weak economy? If things come from nowhere else, do without, or start making it ourselves, which is Trump’s program. Until it happens, do without.

China’s economy, is far weaker than they will admit, and like governments everywhere, lying is a perpetual habit to hide weakness, mistakes, or fraud. China’s real estate industry, is stuck with a trillion dollars worth of un-rented, un-sold apartments and housing, plus hobbled with a fast rail system no one rides, and which cost billions in an attempt to copy the west’s lines. Experts on China, have exposed previously untold deep flaws in China’s feeble attempts to copy us, without the brains to do it properly or economically.

The author’s expose’ of China’s achievements are indeed frightening, and unfortunately probably true. However, the ‘free world’ outside China, uses a different alphabet, doesn’t particularly like the Oriental appearance, and mostly feels trapped by America’s collective huge mistakes in giving China what is responsible for its success, because it certainly isn’t because of any inbuilt intelligence. Copying isn’t intelligence. Copying, is taking advantage of other’s intelligence, and if it can be done with quarter an hour labor, that road is easily driven.

The worlds non-communist, free nations, continue to improvise, invent, and do what unhindered, un-tethered, brains can do, which communist brains cannot, other than copy, to the huge degree they have done so in the last half century. Before WW II, Japan invaded and virtually conquered China, which was a weak, enfeebled, pitiful nation. That was a mere 75 years ago. Now look at it, thanks to theft and American foolishness. Were Nixon’s Ping Pong games, a spark?

Keep protecting yourself with us at 1%, and pass this on. Maybe a strong wave can be started, which will save ourselves, proving it’s not too late. Post it on “X” as I have no idea how to, if you think it should be done.
