Trump RX

President Donald Trump is proposing a true socialistic idea, which like all socialistic plans fail, as Margaret Thatcher said a couple of decades ago, “The trouble with socialism is, that eventually you run out of other people’s money.”

About 30 miles from me, is the little town of Nucla. It was founded over a hundred years ago, as a socialistic-communistic town where everything would be cheap, because it was all communally owned, and no profit had to be shown. It lasted about a decade, and became a nice little non-socialistic-communist town just a mile from an already formed town called Naturita. Both have existed since, and are probably the closest two town on Earth.

The probable next mayor of New York, wants government owned grocery stores. If it ever happens, they will be a colossal failure, paid for by taxes. Why do people with brains leave big cities? To get away from the crime-infested places ruined, by welfare and socialism. The morons will stay there, destroy their city, murder innocents, and vote Democratic. Democrats are just a hair’s breath away from being actual commies.

Trump’s idea of government owned drug stores, which would sell drugs on the cheap, theoretically bypassing all the profits, bureaucracy and nonsense, which he says is typical of the retail sector of our economy. Correction, Mr. President, the American economy, is highly competitive, and the main reason retail proceedings of all types, including medicine, are not more reasonable, is because of endless government rules, taxes, and bureaucracy!

The average chain grocery store in America, works on about an 11% profit! Think about it. That 11% profit occurs, after transportation of foods, wages all along the line, taxes on everything, labor in stores and on farms, wholesalers, and distributors, utilities, property taxes, withholding taxes, sales taxes, and the list can go on. Years ago, I wrote a column about the cost of a loaf of bread without all taxes, and it came down to just a few cents.

I hereby predict that Trump RX will never happen, or if it does, it will collapse quickly, leaving a trail of huge bureaucracy and corruption in government, and every sector that goes with Trump RX. The cost will have been gigantic. What a STUPID idea!

Don’s law is that, “Whatever there is more of, will cost less, and whatever there is less of, will cost more.” I’ve just invented law # 2

“Without profit, nothing will work.”

Without a profit, nothing would have been invented. Everything we now love, use, buy, and in some way exists, came from the desire to make a profit. Did the owners of a bicycle shop (The Wright Brothers), think of a profit when they flew their plane? Did Otis think of a profit when he invented the elevator? Did Carnegie think of a profit when he invented Steel, or Henry Ford, when he invented his car and later, mass production? Did Tom Edison think of a profit when he invented the light bulb and movie projector? Everything which exists, be it scientific, manufacturing, mining, or inventing of everything, had a potential profit as the reason for its conception and beginning. Did gold miners break their backs digging, just the fun of it, or did they think of a huge profit? A hundred years ago, did entrepreneurs build a thousand miles of streetcar lines in cities, for the fun of it, or to make a profit? Did Pullman invent the sleeping car as a hobby, or to make a profit? Every manufacturer, retailer, inventor, or smart person, wanted a profit, even if they opened a pizza shop.

What sector shows no profit, doesn’t work, and is the basis for the failure of the dollar, welfare, wars, and troubles? Government and politicians. Did any of the inventors, manufacturer, retailers, or entrepreneurs think of anything but a profit? Politicians have no idea of a profit. Only to win the next election.

Politicians will moan about ‘helping the needy,’ which is absolute BS. They want their votes. Welfare harms both the recipients, by making them weak, and the taxpayers who pay for it, also makes them weak. No one gains in welfare or government handouts. The animal kingdom has no welfare, and it exists, because of not having it. The elderly, sick, or weak animals, birds, and fishes, simply die, and the race is strengthened. Is our race strengthened by welfare, or do we have billions of worthless, indolent, hangers on, living off of us, the smart, strong, and inventive class? We invent, sell, make, and grow, while the handout recipients destroy, and we pay with ever decreasing value bucks. Unfortunately, the less intelligent will continue to depend on un-backed paper money, and believe it or not, on bit-coins backed by thin air and no one will even get a physical one! “Stupidity cannot be fixed.” (anonymous)

There was no welfare before FDR. Families, churches, or charities, cared for the weak and sick. There were no nursing homes, no welfare, and the dollar was strong, and gold had been the same rice for a hundred years. FDR raised it from $20.67 to $35, where it stayed till welfare began, and now it is $3900.

Gold has gone up $42.34 each year, for 92 years.

Can you possibly think of a better way to save surplus assets, than to get them into un-taxable, beautiful, historic money for thousands of years? We do it for 1% over our wholesale cost. Our large volume allows us to be comfortable with a 1% profit. Thinks that is an exaggeration? It isn’t. Check our web site to see what we pay for it.
