One of the ways a nation can be killed, is by not keeping its borders guarded. Ask any German, French, UK, or Italian, how they feel about their respective onslaught of foreigners. Not speaking the language, imbibing in every known welfare program of their nations, working dirt cheap and living like animals, is the common way illegals in every land operate. They also seem to flaunt the law and become criminals as well. America has the same problem, only in spades. Illegals entering into European nations, have to cross bodies of water or travel illegally through other nations. Not so with the Mexican influx in America. They merely have to cross the border, which is poorly guarded…a mild understatement.
Illegals don’t get to enter Japan. Japan is a nation which has Japanese in it, and any others are there legally. There is no intermarriage, crime, or scofflaws with illegals in Japan, because there aren’t any. Must be nice. China, a communist state, also guards its borders closely, although it is so large, that some do get in. Russia, also a communist state, has few illegals, due to strict law enforcement, carried to the same extent as any communist state. No, I don’t want to live under communism, nor am I advocating communist terrorism. But, it is pretty obvious to me, that 12-20 million illegals aren’t paying their way, and costing every one of us a pack of fading dollars to educate them, and allow them to receive free medical care. I can’t go to the ER and get free treatment. Why should they? Why should they get handouts and Social Security?
Our borders are so loosely patrolled and guarded, that when a border patrol does their job, they might end up in jail, as two of them have already. (If McCain wants to really touch a sore spot and get a lot of votes, he will promise to release those two border patrols the minute he takes office). Millions of dollars have been appropriated by the Congress to build a strong, tall, deeply imbedded fence all along the Mexican-US border, but little of it has been built. Where it has been built, illegal crossings have stopped completely.
From the Washington Times, of August 6, 2008, comes the story of Mexican soldiers entering the US, and holding US Border Patrols at gunpoint! “A US Border Patrol agent was held at gunpoint Sunday night by members of the Mexican military who had crossed the border into Arizona, but the soldiers returned to Mexico without incident when backup agents responded to assist. “Unfortunately, this sort of behavior by Mexican military personnel has been going on for years,” union Local 2544 of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) said on its web page. “They are never held accountable, and the United States government will undoubtedly brush this off as another case of, ’Oh well, they didn’t know they were in the United States.’ It’s fortunate that this incident didn’t end in a very ugly gunfight,” said the local’s posting.” Naturally, the US State Department said, “It’s not an incident that we are aware of.”
Crime statistics prove beyond a doubt that America is being killed by illegals. They receive hundreds of millions of dollars of free medical care, schooling, and those born in the US, become automatic citizens, which unfortunately is allowed by the Constitution under the14th Amendment. Thousands of pregnant Mexicans manage to cross illegally and have their babies here, to be certain that they are US citizens. If McCain wishes to get votes, he will start a movement to modify the 14th Amendment, so this cannot happen. I’ll vote fore him, but his stance on illegals might cost him dearly, I am afraid.
