Humans and Animals

Let's look at animals and their lifestyles.  Wild ones, not domesticated animals, if you please.  We have three little dogs who probably sleep 18 hours a day, and are well fed and spoilt rotten.  I am certain there are cat lovers out there, and their pet cats also sleep 18 hours a day, I am sure.  Rather, look at cows, horses, deer, elk, and other wild animals.  They spend their entire waking hours, head towards the ground, trying to find something to eat.  Wild animals may take a few minutes to mount a female in heat, but their entire lives are spent trying to find enough to eat.  Bears eat huge amounts, so they can hibernate in winters, as do others who call it quits for a long cold winter.  Bears actually give birth at times, while asleep.  The point is that animals, other than domesticated ones, spend their lives trying to get enough to eat.  They never have any ideas of starting a business, writing a book, or doing anything which can be considered 'productive,' for lack of a better term.  I am well aware of the fact that wild animals' brains are for doing exactly what they do, and that's fine.  They're incapable of doing anything else, but the comparison is pertinent.

Now, let's examine two legged humans.  In America and other nations which have a modicum of freedom left, men and women don't have to spend their lives searching for food.  Depending on the amount of freedom the nation in which they live has, they will think, innovate, invent, sell, buy, and do what a capitalistic, productive nation does, in direct proportion to the amount of freedom from government, they have.  The Founders sought freedom from the harassment, rigidity, and confiscatory laws of Mother England.  They had enough of the wholesale taxes and regulations emanating from England, and the revolution was on.  It worked pretty well for over a hundred fifty years, other than when America was engaged in World War One, which we should have never entered…thanks to Democrat Woodrow Wilson.  America, under freedom; produced, invented, and sold.  America was the envy of the entire world.  America invented just about everything invented during that 150 years.  Incredible prosperity and happiness.  Russia was overthrown by communism, which basically is a total lack of freedom, and from then on till the chains were loosed a bit, and the Soviet Union, as it came to be called, collapsed from bankruptcy, a bit of productivity began.  The Ruskies, of course, stole most of their space travel, and other inventions from us or Germany.

America's incredible productivity and wealth, came from man's not having to search for food like animals, but had free time to use their brains.  The less harassment and bureaucratic nonsense Americans had to put up with, the more productive and happy we were. Thanks to the unconstitutional Federal Reserve, (which Andrew Jackson vetoed its first appearance), America was plunged into what is now called the 'Great Depression.'  Franklin Roosevelt was elected, and the decline began.  Roosevelt invented the welfare state, government handouts, and stifling bureaucracy, which weakened the populace, and the process has continued to this day, the results of which are not difficult to observe. Today, would be productive Americans are harnessed unceremoniously, by endless laws and regulations, 99% of which are unconstitutional, not having been instituted by a vote of the Congress and signature of the President as our Constitution requires.

Now lets look at a nation which has no freedom at all, and whose population has to spend their lives trying to stay alive, like cows, trying to get enough food to stay alive.  A nation rich in natural resources, ideal climate, and everything it needs to be a happy, productive people, but which people are starving, disease ridden, and very unhappy.  A nation which used to be productive and mostly free, but now is totally miserable.  That nation is Venezuela.  Venezuela has total government and total lack of freedom, with the result being that abject poverty, starvation, and total subjugation to a cruel, ignorant, domineering government, is the result.  Like governments everywhere, governments actually believe that they can provide freedom and happiness, which is a total lie, and  the result is obvious.  A semi-equation might be, "More government, less prosperity and happiness."  Look at North Korea, whose people are literally starving, other than its ruler, who looks more like a balloon every day.  Red China has moved from an unproductive, unhappy, literally starving nation, into what it now is, by loosing the chains, and giving a bit of freedom to its people, who then did what free people do, and that is produce, buy and sell.  China's manufacturing success came from slave wages, and that situation has about lost its luster.  Other nations which have been given our manufacturing strength, through government mistake, are having a modicum of freedom, but not the kind America used to have.

Nations which took our success in manufacturing, did it through government ruining the value of the dollar, terrible trade deals, harnessing us with huge taxes and endless rules and regulations, making us less prosperous.  Can it be reversed?  Trump says he can reverse it, but if he can't learn to button his lip till his or others' brains are engaged, we will be lost to a Hillary Supreme Court appointments, and ever more government, taxes, and unhappiness.  Send money to Trump at 725 5th Ave, NY, NY 10022.  Comments to Don Stott, 1-888-786-8822
